We spent 10 days in December 2006 in this hotel and our experience was very good. The restaurant was excellent, and although there are not many options everything was so delicious that every single day we were so happy to have dinner there. I'd like to explain why there are not many food options, the reason is that this island is not the typical caribbean destination with 5 stars hotels, this is a real peaceful place where tourism is still quite and where you will have the chance to really unpluged from reality. In Providencia food only arrives one per week in a ship that comes from another island: San Andres. Therefore food there is really precious and there is no way to waste it in huge buffets. Restaurant quality is very good in this hotel.
Regarding the bedrooms, they were clean and confortable, some with sea view some others dont. The pool is cool and enjoyable if you travel with kids, however we went in a season when the sea looked like another pool, and our little 10 months daughter had the chance to swim in the sea as if she was in the pool.
We really had a very nice time there, people was so friendly and respect the tourist, than we wont hesitate to go again.
