As a westerner, finding an excellent hotel in India at a good price is hard to find. Usually hotels are low priced with poor quality, or over priced with good quality. I'm happy to report that this hotel offers good rates and excellent quality. I stayed there in January 2012 for three nights. There is nothing to complain about, and I will always use this hotel when I stay in Bangalore. The staff was very friendly and helpful in all areas. We had two rooms and both were perfectly clean with good TV and all the amenities you would want. The wi-fi was excellent and allowed me to stream video without a problem.
I had breakfast each morning and the food was delicious. The breakfast staff was so nice to me. I was looking at the bacon which was cooked properly in UK style. The chef asked me "Are you an American?" I said "yes" and she took the bacon and then cooked it for an additional time to make it so it would be prepared crispy as we have it in the US. I was impressed!
My luggage had been lost by Air France and it was delivered when I was not in the hotel. When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk staff stopped me and informed me that my luggage had arrived. I did not have to ask for it. It was delivered to my room.
I had a meeting with some business associates while at the hotel and we were meeting on a set of couches in the front lobby while we were doing our work. The staff was very attentive to us, bringing drinks and food on a regular basis.
A word about Bangalore traffic. There is so much traffic here, and this hotel's location was really good. It is in a nice area of town, the Whitefield section. Access to the airport is relatively easy by taking the back roads and not driving through the city. From this area, it was easy to access all of our appointments in the center, the east, and the south of Bangalore.
Do not doubt anything about this hotel, it is a wonderful place to stay.
