“Far from center but quiet area for sure.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

We arrived at 11:30 to hotel which was not far from bus/train station about 6 km with traffic in that time took about 30 min to get to hotel by taxi, we paid 400 rs which was overcharge but we didn’t feel like arguing more with the driver. When we arrived we noticed that the neighborhood is quiet nice and more posh which was nice, street in what was the hotel seemed very nice, and very quiet.

We were served with morning coffee and tea on the arrival which was complimentary, till they find the room for us.

Room:
We were given room 407 on 4th floor. Average price for rooms is 3600 Rs.
Room was spacious, with kitchen, flat screen tv and couch in front for watching, sleeping area with queen size bed, A/C sealing fans in sleeping areas and tv area, also beside the bed was an office table.

Bathroom seemed clean corners in the shower weren’t black what most hotels in India have. Bathroom had hot water not always hot, but if you let it run sometimes it get warmer, hair dryer and toiletries supplied.

Kitchen area was nicely equipped, table for dining for two people ready for serving, kitchen had kettle, toaster, microwave, big fridge, plates and electric stove.
Room seemed clean bright and comfy.

WiFi:
Also we had free wifi in room, which didn’t work sometimes at all, or was slow, when it worked was 1.06 mb/s but to load a page it takes about a minute ore more, wifi connection is not consistent.
In lobby wifi is 2 mb/s which isbetter. Also there is cable for internet provided on request.

Breakfast:
Breakfast was included, serving to 10:30 they serve good coffee and tea, selection of food was not big but consistent, they had continental food with fruits, muesli, milk, croissants, muffins and toast. English breakfast had beans chicken sausages eggs. And a good selection of Indian breakfast, which is highly recommended.

Room service:
Room service is not around the clock, so be careful with time they work, if you don’t want to starve late in evening or yearly before dinner. But food is good when you get it.

Location:
Hotel is located in Koramangala, not far from railway/bus station around 6 km.
Airport is even closer. Forum Mall is 10 min walk from the hotel.
40 min drive to city center.

“exceptionally good room comfort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

While the hotel itself, located in a quiet street in a residential district of Bangalore, is not in itself exceptional (a fairly simple lobby, etc.), the rooms are just great. They are very spatious, with a kitchenette, a "living room" area with sofa and TV, and a "bedroom" area, with large and confortable beds. Even though I didn't need a kitchenette, it was convenient to have a fridge and a microwave. The hotel offers free wi-fi. The rooms are clean and healthy, well aerated (there is A/C, two ceiling fans, and windows have mosquito nets so one can sleep with open windows at night). There is even an iPod/iPhone deck in the room! Breakfast is pretty good (except for the coffee).

“Great little hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

We stayed here for 15 nights when my wife and I were relocating to Bangalore. After our initial disappointment at Country Club Sarjapur, we took a chance here based on Tripadvisor ratings and boy were we glad.
The price was very reasonable at $68 per night for a suite. Though it is not exactly a suite by Marriott or Hilton definition but let's say it was a BIG room with a bed, sofa and a dining area. The rooms were very clean. Though it shows little sign of age but it is not at all objectionable. The location is absolutely ideal. The busy shopping areas of Koramangala are 10 mins walk from the hotel yet the hotel is in quiet residential tree lined neighborhood.
I do agree with some other reviewers that the staffs were not as polished or eloquent as you get in other hotels but they were very sincere and very helpful. The breakfast is fine if you stay here for couple of nights but after few days you start to hate the lack of diversity. We ordered room service couple of times. The food was OK but nothing special. There are enough restaurants within 500m, so it is not a deal breaker.
Overall, if I have to stay in a hotel in Bangalore in near future, I would absolutely stay here. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Rooms with balcony are noisy but they have a view.

“Great find and amazing vfm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

Unexpectedly good place to stay at. Great value for money. The staff are kind and helpful and willing to go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Will go back to it anytime i'm in that part of Bangalore. Had some difficulty getting there at first as few people around had heard of it, but if you are familiar with the area, things are a lot easier.
