Its my pleasure to write about lemon tree hotel Electronic City. We stayed there for two days and really find it fabulous. Good and spacious rooms with lemon tree odor that is so Nice and freshening. Food is excellet and especially the Asparagus soup and fettucini pasta which Lady Chef specially prepared for us. We never had such a fantastic soup in my whole life.
The service is very good and every effort is made to make a guest happy.

Good, hotel, very friendly staff and excellent food. Loved the buffet in the Citrus restaurant and the staff went out of their way to ensure my stay went well. The booking was smooth and the location is perfect if you are on business with the local companies such as Wipro.

The gym was helpful as running on the streets around there is not an option and it was good to have the option of a swim as well (though the pool was COLD!).

On an evening, the hotel bar served a good range of drinks with a pool table which provided lots of opportunities to play (and lose to!) other Europeans who were also on business.

Only minor criticism was that some of the other guests quite liked to talk quite loudly with their doors open quite late into the night.

You will not be sorry if you stay at this hotel to do businees in Electronic City.

I loved almost everything about the Lemon Tree Hotel except where it was.
Located in Electronic city it's about 45min to the central city in a cab, longer in a tuktuk. The airport is almost 2 hours away and it's pretty far from most sightseeing. If you have business on or near Electronics city it's the place to be.
If you're visiting Bangalore as a tourist bunk closer to the city.

I traveled there solo for vacation and to conduct consumer research. Lemon Tree was ideal. They provided a personal car to and from the airport and when I needed to go into the city (about $34 USD). I called before arriving and a driver met me at the airport (this is a BIG tip for the solo traveler). Wonderful service and personal approach especially from waiter, Gaurav Jalia, who not only wrote down places that would be of interest to my research, but to ensure my safety, he personally escorted me to a few sites in the city that would benefit my study (even on the public bus). He went over and beyond the call of a server and became a friend who wanted me to experience India safely and discover the beauty of Bangalore's people and culture. Vel (at the front desk) also took care to make sure daily that my stay was comfortable, productive and safe. The morning and evening buffets had good choices of excellently prepared vegetarian and Indian food or you could order other varieties from the menu. My room was spacious and clean and a lemon scent was sprayed in the room to match the scent of the lemon toiletries. There were many regular business visitors there. Some travel there once a month. I understand why they return to the Lemon Tree because I will return there, too. The only less than ideal issue was that I had to pay for the internet. It wasn't expensive, but irritating. It's about 80 rupees per every 30 minutes.
