The West End has always been my favourite hotel, and our stay in February just confirmed this. The hotel is an oasis in the center of busy Bangalore, and allowed us to rest and relax. The service was excellent, the attention to our every need superb.
Our room was very well equipped and we lacked for nothing. We spent several hours just exploring the gardens, I strongly recommend this!

Beautiful hotel, set in fantastic grounds, just a short tuk-tuk ride from MG Road and Commercial Street.
Service was impeccable, rooms spacious and very comfortable. A little on the pricey side but worth the treat for a night or two!

We stayed in the Taj West End for two nights. It was wonderful. Our room was huge and had a very large porch. The entire site looks like a garden with lush trees and multiple buildings that are separated by a short walk. There are several restaurants and we ate dinner at the Vietnamese restaurant. The staff is top of the line and the morning breakfast is superb. The weather was excellent for us, but in the rainy season I would assume that it may be a problem moving from your room to the main building without rain gear or an umbrella. I know there are a number of fine places to stay in Bangalore but this one is special because of the beautiful setting and grounds.

At the end of a wonderful 12 day tour, and after a battle with the Bangalore traffic, we arrived at this wonderful place. Welcome was warm but professional, and staff were excellent throughout. We had a late lunch and then took the (free) Champagne Tour with the excellent head concierge Dev, seeing the Roof Garden and amazing grounds. Service in the Blue Bar was rather slow but a fine dinner, beautifully presented, quickly compensated. Alas we had to depart early next day for homeward flight - but should we be back in Bangalore we will not consider anywhere else
