I stay at 2 bed rooms very good value and nice place to stay, but is far to kuta

I stayed in the hotel on 29th Oct,2011. I went out side for site seeing and came back around 8.30 PM to hotel. When I entered my room I shocked to know that my LAPTOP was not found in the hotel room also my baggage was opened and destroyed. After late, I came to understand that somebody from hotel staff was entered my room and taken away my LAPTOP, CASH and other some valuable belongings. Immediately, the same was informed to the management in written. Surprisingly, the management simply advised me to go to police station and lodge a complaint. They never bothered about the safeness and problems that I faced. The behavior of the management made sleepless night to mine. Even I was scarred about my life after seeing the mischievous attitude of the hotel management towards me. Since, I have to catch my flight and no money left with me I could not stay back and fight against the misbehavior of the hotel management legally. I informed the same to the highest authorities of the hotel management and even to the embassy of the BALI. I did not got any reply till date. I don't know how to send my bad experience to more people . And I am searching that whom I have to contact to get back my belongings.

This hotel is the partner of my company so we have to stay here if we go to Bali on duty. However the hotel is the perfect choice if you stay in Denpasar for a business trip. The facilities are well maintained and also meet the business trip's requirements. The location itself in the northern part of Denpasar's heart offer you good access to various business interests' direction. But not if you stay for vacation.

The location is pretty far from the tourists hot spot of Kuta/Legian complex. And surely you have to survive the busy and crowded Denpasar streets first before you can reach Kuta. The hotel offers the spa and other services, but I don't see them thinking of a good and acceptable swimming pool.. I even see the pool water color (might be caused by the pool ceramic) caused my appetite of swimming away.

The restaurant is unique though, and they serve various culinary choices. Pick the Balinese traditional dishes if they are serving, it is worth to taste. Surprisingly, they also offer the lunch a la carte offer (IDR 40,000) with balinese culinary items. It is not just relatively cheap but also taste good !

For you who would like to travel to the north or west (Ubud, Bedugul, Tabanan, Tanah Lot), this hotel offers you easier access and can avoid hectic Denpasar traffic. But if you would go the the east or south, you need to check the map to take the access roads.

In the end, the hotel as its reputable brand, offers you the excellent service and very formal approach. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Even I found the rate is not a top value at price, I still feel this hotel is still worth to be recommended.

This is an Aston yet the quality made me dissapointed. First when we check-in,before I already let them knom that maybe would come early since we drive from Malang.But when we check-in at afternoon must wait for our room to be cleaned. I'm with my 2 years old daughter and with the long hours riding a car just want to lie back in the bed A.S.A.P.
Second, the corridor smell of smoke :(
Third the room, it was ok but the bathroom too small. The floor wasn't too clean there were few brown blotches.
Fourth, Breakfast Buffet was an ok plenty odf variety but would not recommend the pastry.
Overall, would not stay here there are plenty of better accomodation with cheaper price.
