We have been staying at the Masa Inn for many years and keep going back. This is a family run business that evolved from a single room hut that the farmer/owner would rent to passing surfers on their way to Kuta Beach. Now it still has a very low key entry that could easily be overlooked. However, once inside you are greeted by a nice sized swimming pool surrounded by comfortable rooms containing twins, double and triple sleeping arrangements. Those who venture further will be surprised to find a huge second pool and heaps more rooms. Prices include a satisfactory breakfast served at your table by friendly staff. They must check your passport for birthdays as there are regular celebrations hosted by staff and you walk away with a lovely garland of flowers and a nice flower arrangement!
My only reluctance in recommending this hotel is that we don't want to miss out on a room next time we go!
