“Stay here the 2nd time. No regrets!”

This is my 2nd time in bali staying in 100 sunset for the 2nd time too. Had a great time in 100 sunset hotel. Price is reasonable, staffs are friendly. Location is a bit far away as its not near to the beach but its not a problem to us as we have a driver to drive us around.

We had a free upgrade too to family suite! Kudos too 100 sunset hotel. The only problem is wirless is really too slow.
Theres another 100 sunset Part 2 still in construction next to 100 sunset hotel. I believe it should be finished by end of this year. Will visit this hotel again!

“Gaetana”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

A great experience had by my daughters and myself. Staff very helpful and always smiling .The food was lovely, buffet breakfast had a large selection of food and drinks..room service ws great especially the pizzas, and the spring rolls were delicious!!! The 2 bedroom apartment we had was very spacious,2 lcd tvs located in the bedroom and lounge areas, 2 bathrooms and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. Bed and pillows were so comfortable. Room was serviced everyday..check in and out was a breeze. This hotel is located alongside a VERY busy road however staff guided us across it when we needed assistance, no problems with hailing down taxis however my recommendation is to always use BLUEBIRD TAXI. 10 minute walk to CARRFOURS and a 5 minute walk to DUTYFREE GALLERIA.Thank u SUNSET!!!

“Great hotel with great value”

I had stayed here a couple times when i visited bali,
Choose for their one bedroom suite if u traveling alone or with a companion..
This suite is equip with lcd tv, living room, dvd player, and the bed itself is comfy, ask for a room no 619 or 615, i forgot which one, because located in the corner and i feel it's bigger.. Bathroom is quite spacious, and had bathtub and other amenities..

The distance is quite far from the hustle of kuta, u must rent a motorcycle if u want to go to the beach or shops in kuta..
This hotel located near patung dewa ruci, just tell the taxi driver, and he already know..

The staff is nice and always helpful
Breakfast quite good, they had bacon, fried rice, croissant, etc

I must say i like this hotel, coz everytime i go to bali i rent a bike, so the distance is not a problem for me..

“Great hotel”

Great hotel, excellent service!

We arrived very early (545am) from an AirAsia flight. After being ripped off by a taxi driver for the trip to the hotel, we checked in, and was greeted by a young gentlemen who politely informed us that check in time is not usually until 2pm. We said we understood that policy but if they could have the room ready at an earlier time we would be very grateful as we hadn't slept all night as we had been flying.

The same young man checked us in, stored our luggage, as we said we were booked in for a spa at 10am. We asked whether we could wait at the restaurant as they were still not yet opened. Not only did they let us wait there, we were served with complimentary tea, juice and cold towels. Just as I had thought that I'd been waiting till 2pm for the room, the young gentleman came over and passed us our room key and told us that our room is ready. It was 615am. We were not asked to pay any extra monies, just ushered to the room with a big smile and we thanked him profusely.

Upon arrival in the room, we were amazed at the size of it - we had booked a 1 bedroom suite. Plenty of room, lounge and bed area are separated by a glass wall where the TV is housed. Nice contemporary furniture, comfy pillows and sheets. Massive bathroom with ample room with complimentary use of robes and slippers. Fresh towels and other amneties like toothbrush, paste, ear buds, shower cap, sewing kit were made available. The air conditioning worked just fine, mini bar had all the usual beverages stored in there, there were tea and coffee facilities.

The breakfast provided was quite good. The restaurant also serves meals which are quite delicious.

The pool was not big but sufficient for a short lap. when we were there not many guests seem to have used it apart from some small children.

The only thing we would ask the hotel improve is probably the towels. We had read in reviews that the towels were slightly brown and old - we packed our own so it did not bother us. The only other thing would be the cocktails. I only had 1 cocktail from the restaurant, it was average.

From the very beginning to the end, the staff members were courteous and helpful, on the day we left, they organised a taxi for us for the transfer to the second hotel, the hotel porter even loaded our luggage in the taxi for us. We felt so pampered.

We had initially booked for 9 days at this hotel, but upon reading the review we changed our mind to stay at another. we regretted it so much and wished we had just continued on 100 Sunset for our entire stay!

“Place to drop for a night or two; nothing to do in Kuta”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2012

We've chosen this hotel because of #10 in Tripadvisor for Kuta, to have a location for New Year 2012 in Kuta. Actually, the hotel is located by the side of main road (we knew that). Problem is that there's traffic jam in Kuta all time long. When I read that in reviews, I suppose that's a little bit more words than it really is. No. We rented motorbike, right near ther hotel there is the point of rent a motorbike, and even by motorbike you hardly can get the beach or back fast, and when we rided to some temples nearby, we've spent really more time than expected just only becuase the traffic.
Hotel is good for 1-2 nights drop, not more. It's not bad, but to say that's really boutique hotel - for me, probably no. You need to realise, in Indonesia quality/price level is lower than in some countries nearby.
Clean, not very cheap for NY 2012, not beach side, to walk to Kuta beach you need 20 min. By motorbike or taxi - it depends. Staff - no problem. SPA - they have this service, but note that the massage women from outside will come to your room, they have no separate space for SPA service. Nearby - supermarket CarryFour (big shopping center), local Duty Free shop, local small market K cercle (very close).
And note that Kuta beach - durty beach, nothing to do there. And in Kuta - there's no big number of bars/pubs full of surfers meeting in the evening, we initially expected to see.

Room Tip: We booked suite room, just because no standart room at the moment. Do not think, book standart room...
