“Great Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 February 2012

stayed at the Ramayana with my 2 teenage kids - can't fault the hotel - great friendly staff - perfect location right in the middle of kuta square if you want to be right in the middle of everything. Kids could just wander up to the Matahari. Breakfast was great with different choices every day only problem was the egg station got very busy. Loved the area outside the stadium bar - very relaxing. Only down side was only one key card for the room but the staff were very accommodating at letting us into our room at night. Would definitely stay there again

“Great location but a little tired”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012 via mobile

Was at first impressed but as the trip got on I was disappointed we spent five nights at this hotel, we were in an executive deluxe room on the 8th floor ( which is actually the 4th floor ....weird system) firstly we booked a double and were given a twin, was so tired and couldn't be bothered so took the room, bathroom is pretty average with a pretty shocking finish no attention to detail here, day three our mini bar started leaking water all over our bedroom floor, rather than fix they just switched it off without telling us, day four a lovely sound of someone hammering floor tiles in the room across the hall at 8am, again we were not told of any maintenance when booking, breakfast was adequate for Bali, we had lunch in the restaurant on the first day it was lovely went for dinner a few days later, ordered the same coconut chicken curry which was revolting, no sense of care when complaining yes yes but really not understanding ANC just wanting our bill Paid even though we didn't touch the revolt that was served. On check out much the same when expressing our disapointment it fell on deaf ears lots of smiling and apologising but really not caring about the issues raised. You get what you pay for I believe, I would go one of the bungalows if I was to return to this hotel, I hardly doubt it though. Pool side bar is great nice cocktails and amazing staff.

“Nice stay, nice hotel, brilliant staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

I stayed at Ramayana with some friends and the place is really cool, nice hotel, good rooms and amazing staff.
My only complain (not related with the Hotel) was about the place (Kuta) which is extremly touristic so everyone is trying to rip you off and is very busy. I could I would stay in Seminyak which is not so busy and the beaches are cleaner.

“Ripped off by room rate”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

I booked this hotel on 5 January for 2 deluxe rooms for $96++ each. then after 2 weeks, the rate dropped to $78++ for the same room. I asked the reservation to give me free upgrade to exec deluxe which was still cheaper than what I had booked for earlier. Surprisingly, they asked a an extra $20 to be upgraded. Not happy at all!

“Great location near Kuta beach and shopping street.”

This is my 2nd time that I visited Bali with my boy friend. Hotel located in the great location near Kuta beach and shopping street but facility of the hotel very old. There is a smell in the room. Price too expensive which you can find better hotel for this price. Breakfast is good but always the same everyday. There is stadium bar located in front of the hotel which too noisy. I would not recommend to stay there.

Room Tip: Please avoid to stay in the room at the main road because it too noisy.
