If we travel again to Bali we will stay there again. Great location very near the airport and still quiet. We stayed here from 12th to 15th feb. 2011 and again from the 19th to 28th Feb. 2011. TOTAL OF 12 DAYS, actually 11 nights + a day use room as we had a late flight they made me a fair rate to keep the room till 5PM.
This place is great for couples, the pool is the nicest one I have seen around Kuta & has direct view and access to the beach which we enjoyed daily.

the ramada bintang is situated on kuta beach the hotel is nice and clean the staff very cheerful and friendly the hotel is only 15 minutes away from the airport,but not that close that it bothers you! its ideal for shopping as well! but make sure you have your haggling head on!!!!!!

We have spent xmas holidays for the past 5 years at this resort. It is close to the main street so easy access to the restaurants, shops, bars. etc. We travel with two small children and the facilities are great for them. There is a small kids club and as the kids get older, they spend more time there. There is a small kiddies pool and a large pool side by side. There are lots of deck checks with soft mats and towel runs don't seem to be necessary. The breakfasts have a wide selection and very tasty. The rooms are well laid out but we noticed this year, they are getting a bit tired. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beach in front of the resort appears to have been cleaned up alot in recent years. I would highly recommend this resort as it has good value for the dollar. Only down side is there is no wifi in the rooms and they charge per 10 muntes in the business center. One would think that internet service would be complimentary in a resort like this. We have found that it is the small, cheaper places offer free internet.

We stayed for two weeks in this hotel. During this period we got a lot of problems.
1. We were checked in in dirty room. When we came back to change the room, FO staff did not replace the previous key, that is why we can not open our new room.
2. When we changed the room we found water from outside in the bedroom (we got the ground floor and it was rain)
3. Nobody change the device for mosquitos for 2 days, I need to asked FO staff twice.
4. Finally housekeeping brought us the dirty towel!!!
5. They got only 100 umbrellas and 400 rooms. It was impossible to take an umbrella when it was rain.
6. Breakfast was the same during 14 days. Sometimes the changed some meals, but it was not enought. The same mixed juice every day! I am bored with this breakfast for the 3rd day.
7. Rooms need to be refurbish URGENT!
8.Hotel area ( pool,garden) - realy nice.
9. There are a lot of restaurats and bars naerby,
10. There is nothing to do in this hotel in the evening ( no entertaiment at all)!

After all our compaints management upgraded our room and provided us free late check out and dinner.
