We were in Kuta for only 2 nights, joining a cruise departing from Benoa. We read about Green Garden Hotel on Trip Advisor and it was one of the few hotels which had consistently good comments (we did not need a 5 star hotel on this occasion). The staff were friendly, the room scrupulously clean and comfortable, and it was quiet with a very good pool for cooling off after a days shopping.
The only down side was that the breakfast was very ordinary but it was adequate. If you are not looking for a resort hotel on the beach (although the beach was accessible through an adjoining hotel or through the nearby Discovery Mall, and it was not desirable for swimming as it was dirty with lots of rubbish around), this hotel is quiet, clean, comfortable and convenient.

I have just returned from 11 days at the green garden and it is good value for the price.
Beds and pillows very comfortable and as I have back and neck problems normally I have trouble but these were great.I found staff terrific smiling and helpfull all the time.A little noisy
but still had no trouble sleeping.Good value aand will go again.Bev

Room Tip: perhaps not next to stairs as can be noisy when people come home late at night

“neat and clean”

great location, good and realy clean rooms, BUT the staff were not very friendly and the service in the restraunt and bar was poor.. Not to bad for the price...

Room Tip: rooms close to the road get a bit of road noise.

Good location. 20 minutes walk from Bubba Gump and Kuta town. Less than 5 minutes walk to Discovery Mall. I get a room at the group floor, next to the pool. Stayed for 2 nights. unfortunately, I was out from the room most of the time. Breakfast was inclusive. Simple buffet spread. Enough to last you to your next meal. Just one downside, the wifi was not functioning. Could not upload my Bali photos taken using my iPod. :(

Room Tip: Rooms at the ground floor next to the pool.
