At first we were hesitate to book this hotel because of other reviews that we had previously seen on trip advisor, but we are so glad we did, because it was absolutely amazing!!! In particular, the location is brilliant - right in the heart of kuta, but nicely tucked away in the corner where you are able to escape to a peaceful and exquisite serenity. The hotel itself is a pleasant mixture of balinese surrounding with the class of a modern touch.
Would recommend to people young at heart.

i would like to share with you my first experience in bali and staying at the white rose hotel.Bali and its culture and people will hold a special place in my heart. Our stay at the white rose was beautiful in every way from the clean rooms to breakfast. It is tucked away just behind the memorial and walking distance from the heart of bali. The staff were amazing if you asked for something it was there with a smile on their faces. There are many fine restaurants to eat from. The bali beach shack was were we celebrated one of my friends birthday for a traditional sunday roast and birthday cake, all joyed in from the staff to customers.Some of the fine restaurants we visited were Kori in poppy's lane, ghosha , birku for high tea in seminyak, nero all exceptional food and service and of high quality. There are many fine restaurants to choose from the ones i have mentioned are only a few. We interacted with the dolphins, what an amazing experience, one i will never forget, held a chimp at safari park. Bali is place that i plan to visit again, because there is so much to see and do with its unique beauty, culture and its beautiful people. Thank you white rose hotel for our stay see you soon

When we first arrived at midnight after our long flight we were super excited to be able just to get to our room and relax. When we arrived we checked in and the staff at reception were very friendly. They then found another guy to take our luggage to our room. He was very rude and not welcoming at all. When he put our luggage in our room he stood in the centre of the room and would not leave. We opened the door for him as we were tired and he just stood there and stared at us. Then he demanded a tip. Because we had arrived so late we didnt have time to change our aussie dollars to rph which we explained to him that we didnt have any rph on us to tip him and that we would find him the following day once we had exchanged the money, but he still refused to leave the room and demanded aussie dollars. I don't mind tipping the staff when they are friendly and helpful but this guy was just FREAKY! Eventually we gave him a few aussie dollars so we could get him out. He did not smile, thank us, NOTHING!
White Rose is nice, quiet & clean. The pool was fantastic and the staff at the bar were awesome. Breakfast was good, huge variety! Wi-fi was super expensive & very average.
All in all, good place for the price you pay!

Having always stay in Tuban I found this area was too busy for me. However the White Rose is tucked away from all of the Hustle and bustle. The breakfast was really good but have to say that the Hotel restaurant was quite pricey as was the spa.
The rooms were nice and clean but lacked in storage space for clothes.
I had a ground floor room facing the pool and found it too noisy with the late night revellers. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful but the reception staff had a superiority complex
