My fiancee and I stayed here for 5 nights and through weighing up the pros and cons, it came up as just average.
Pros:
* Rooftop pool - well away from the busy Kuta streets below. You can also have dinner up there which was nice to eat under the stars.
* Friendly daytime staff - greeting you with hello and opening doors for you.
* Tasty breakfast - could use a little more fruit variation but overall very tasty!
Cons:
* Spa staff were lazy and seemed bored. I had a body scrub in which the lady came in, slapped some goo on me (and I literally mean slap, there was no even coverage or massage involved) and then left for 30 minutes for which she told me was to "let it dry", upon coming back into the room she then told me to shower and that was the end of the so called "body scrub".
* My fiancee and I both became ill with Bali Belly and required more water (you get given 2 TINY bottles of water each day and also two large bottles in the mini bar, of which we had drunk all of) so we called the reception asking them to please deliver some more but the person on the other end didn't speak a word of English. I ended up having to walk down the 4 flights of stairs at 3am, horribly ill to explain that we urgently needed water, to which the man on the reception desk still couldn't understand.
* Hallways are echoey and you can hear other drunk guests stumbling to their rooms in the early hours of the morning.
All in all - generally OK but I would definitely not recommend to anyone.
