My daughter and I stayed here November 2011.
I was looking for a hotel that could provide a room bigger than just your standard room
I didnt just want a room with 2 beds in it, as she was 18 we needed a bit of privacy from each
other. During my search of lots of hotels in Sanur I came across this hotel with a Family Room.
The room is not just a room, when you first enter you come into a large area with 2 single beds, a sitting area near the window and a tv and bar fridge, all tastefully decorated Balinese style.
To the right of this room, is small double doors which lead into the large bathroom, there is a separate shower room with a door, a separate toilet with a door, the bath tub is at the end of the main part of the room, with a vanity/sink area and also a cupboard which has a small safe.
To the left of the main room is 2 more small double doors leading to a separate bedroom with large king size bed and small sitting area near window. So I had this room and my daughter had the main room. The Family Room would be ideal for our situation or of course a family, 2 adults and 2 children. The 3 rooms were all very spacious and clean. The airconditioners in each room worked well. Outside is an undercover area with table & chairs.
The Hotel has 2 large swimming pools, one near the front of hotel with plenty of seating around the pool. The lobby is open and large. There are plenty of tables & chairs to sit at and a few computers for internet etc. At the rear of the hotel there is another pool near to the restaurant area which overlooks the beach. All the rooms are separate from each other, set amongst the tropical gardens, they are not joined, so each one is very private and quiet. I cant say much about the beach as we did not swim in it, however it appeared clean. There are stray dogs around, as there are everywhere in Bali but they never bother anyone. The hotel is further down the beach than the main area, however it is an easy 10-15 minute walk. The beach area was very quiet when we were there and quite deserted most of time anyway. From the front of the hotel, it is a short stroll up the laneway/road to the main road where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. About 15 minutes down the main road is the shopping centre where you can buy most things including groceries.
Sanur is much quieter than Kuta and less populated and less shopping. It is a nice area and a good base for day trips etc. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
