“Lovely place, very quiet and comfy”

Was travelling alone (which i am not used to), and need to say thanks to the hotel staff my stay was really cosy and comfortable, and they made me feel quite special and not a stranger. Next time i would travel alone- would definitely look for a hotel like this.
As to the quality - good value for money, very nicely decorated rooms, a bit small, but clean and refreshing pool, my room was facing the pool terrace: almost a "bungaloo" feeling.
Location is not a walking distance from the beach for sure, but once you have a motorbike you're flexible, otherwise they eagerly provide shuttle service at most of the times you wish.
My only bit of disappointment was in the cusine of local restaurant - it's quite poor, despite a good menu, the dinner on-site was not a nice experience.
Ah, the spa (at least a warm-stone massage) was great! :)

Room Tip: I was in the one, facing the pool - but then you have a fountain sound from 7am to 11pm. Which was...

“Fantastic hotel and great value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

Booked one night ended up staying three. Rooms were beautiful and clean, the staff were extremely helpful, we asked for a motorbike, it was there in 30 min and was at a great price we didn’t need to negotiate. 10 min motor bike ride to centre of Sanur but there are shuttles throughout the day and with a motorbike it’s no real issue. Beautiful relaxing pool and good and restaurant. By far the best value for money during our whole trip.

Room Tip: Rooms by the pool are great to step right out and swim, but if you're looking for somthing a bit...

“Ticked the boxes for a short stay”

We stayed at the Puri Maharani for 1 night as a stopover on our way to Lembongan. The hotel arranged pick-up from the airport (additional cost) but we were greeted with a cooling welcome drink on our arrival. The room we stayed in was quite good but perhaps a little dated and in need of some slight renovations to the bathroom, but adequate all the same. The hotel grounds themselves are beautiful and although located on a busy street, you wouldn't really know it. If we wanted to spend some time exploring Sanur, I probably wouldn't pick this hotel as it seems to be a bit out of town, although they do provide regular free shuttles from the hotel.

Room Tip: Some rooms are located right near the swimming pool - best to avoid if you don't want people han...

“quite peaceful hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 August 2011

lovely small hotel, staff are wonderful, rooms are nice, needs more English speaking channels on TV, has shuttle to beach but is too far from shops to walk too, so your are reliant on the hotel for everything unless you get a taxi everywhere and no one knows where the hotel is so you have to explain the location and guide every taxi to the hotel. Very nice hotel just to chill out but if you want to go out and about it can be a nusiance to constantly get taxi's everywhere.

“Looooong way out”

This hotel is miles away from anywhere. If you rent a bike it will only take 10 mins to downtown but if you want to drink you need to pay 30-50k each way in a taxi to get to the good restaurants. The hotel itself is quite nice but all the poolside groundfloor rooms have mold and smell musty which let's the hotel down badly. The manager is a nice guy and will help you with anything you need. All in all it's ok here but there are far better places available.
