We came here in 2004 with our two kids and had a lovely time, so decided to stay here again in 2012 in a 2 br apartment. The price is good and the apartment as we remembered it - spacious, good air con, kitchen if you needed it and well appointed.
We could see that it was now a bit frayed around the edges and needed renovation, but that was occuring in much of the suites including the lobby. For younger kids this is a great place with lots of activities. If you want to be close to the beach or the action, this is not the place for you but it is only a Rp 25,000 cab ride ($2.50AUD) with that being the minimum price of the cabs. We found that with its shuttle bus and cheap cabs this was a great alternative, as we found it hard to find a place that has apartments and not just rooms for us and nearly adult children for a reasonable price.
The suites overcharge for food and beverages but this is our expectation with any resort type hotel. A trip to the restaurant strip in Sanur or Hardy's for supplies easily overcomes this.
Attentive staff (mostly) and a great pool and beautiful surrounds makes this a great place to stay. When at the pool away from the hussle and bussle you feel like you could be anywhere. When this place is fully renovated, it will be back to its best, but is still good now for the price.
