Glad we found this little gem. We really enjoyed our short stay.
In a good upmarket area on a quiet road. What a lovely entrance. You have a good 10-15 min walk to the main street. But about a 5 min walk you have some good bars and restaurants and a lovely cafe/restaurant just down the road.. Be careful! The footpaths are in bad condition and dangerous and especially in the dark.
Reception (from Linda) was charming, warm and friendly. Shown straight to our lovely room. We had a very nice feeling as we walked by the super pool and wonderful gardens to our room.
This was on the ground floor and accessed across a small bridge with fish swimming each side.
The room itself was clean, bright and cosy. The bathroom was a little different...it was open to the skies! Private but open. We liked this.
We ate only "breakfast" and this was a big let down. I look forward to breakfast. But this was merely tea, toast, jam and fruits!. This is not breakfast as we know it...not even a continental one. I had oatmeal and was charged for it. I was surprised at the lack of effort for breakfast...why??? Management need to sort this urgently as the rest of the resort is charming and excellent.
We did enjoy our stay and would stay again for sure...even with the breakfast!!
