I stayed here for two nights, precisely at the Cempaka Villa. Since we entered the lobby, we already felt good as we were greeted by smiling staff and green paddy terrace. Walking closer to our booked villa, the sound of the river were stronger. The villa was more than what we expected! It was so private with its nice garden, swimming pool, natural green trees around, and river view. It’s not just a river, I heard it is the longest river in Bali, Ayung river. The outer atmosphere conjured up my memory of living in a traditional village. Fortunately, the inside was as beautiful as the outer part. The bedroom felt so homey that was decorated with lovely mosquito net and unique furniture. I remembered that there was a sofa placed at the corner of the bedroom where I could look out into the river while enjoying my favorite music through ipod player provided. The amazing thing is this place has a very good Wi-Fi connection so I can still communicate with some family. Sorry, I’m a city girl that always need the internet. The bathroom was spacious with its lovely ceramic-build-bath-tub. The food in its restaurant were incredibly tasty, especially the Balinese Chickenball Soup. I love it so much! The outdoor spa system was very creative! I felt very relaxed and pampered by the professional spa therapist treatment while listening to the river sound and the birds chipping. Every thing was so well managed here, thanks to its friendly and hospitality-expert owner. Stayed here and indulge yourself!

We stayed at Villa Semana at their private Cempaka villa which is facing the river and we had to see the view of the natural beauty of Ayung River, one of the famous river in Ubud area. The tranquility is unbeatable, because of the location is in the middle of village and no other villa is around, which was perfect for us who wanted to stay away from the hectic big city life and to enjoy the peaceful time while in Bali. For us, this is the real Bali! The villa is very private, we spent time mostly in the villa and didn't have to worry about anything else. They have spa by the river, a bale bengong by the river, main swimming pool by the restaurant facing the river and the view of rice paddies at the background. Their restaurant served delicious food! Even the ice cream is over the top. We loved the Balinese rice and the breakfast fried rice are very tasty. The villa also complete with super wifi connection, we didn't have to worry if we need to connect to the internet at anytime. Our room is beautifully decorated, complete with glass windows, even in the bathroom. We love that there's ipod dock and excellent stereo in the room. We are glad that we chosed Villa Semana, and would love to recommend everyone who's looking to experience the real Bali ike us to stay at this villa.

overall very nice PADI field views, nice pool , very much like the marina bay SANDS in singapore. supered view overlooking the river.

Lunch and dinner menu was amazing, will definitely be back. love their breakfast , bur bur ayam.

We stayed for two nights at Villa Semana and it was just beautiful. Everything was of the highest quality.
