I have little to add to the many 5-star reviews already written about Komaneka at Bisma. Suffice it to say that the quality of our stay was top-notch and well worth the money. The place is ideally situated in the middle of Ubud, overlooking lush and picturesque rice fields, but close enough to the center of Ubud that you can walk to the palace and shops -- I actually recommend doing this as the roads immediately around the hotel are full of large potholes. If you prefer to ride, shuttle service is hourly and will bring you to locations not specified on the shuttle schedule, just let the front desk know.
Regular rooms are enormous and immaculately maintained with large balcony, TV/sitting area, shower, 2 sinks and separate bathtub -- I imagine the suites with private pools are even more luxurious.
Staff are well-trained and attentive but not overly so, with great attention to detail.
Facilities include 2 swimming pools (which never got crowded when we were there) and a small but well-appointed gym.
Breakfast (lavish, with juice, coffee/tea, fresh fruit, and Balinese/Indonesian and Western entrees) and afternoon tea are included.
Jars of cookies, ginger candies, and other snacks are scattered throughout the resort. I decimated the jar of mini chocolate chip cookies in the room.
Free wireless in the lobby, spa, and each bedroom -- if you don't come with a device of your own there is a library with two computers and a printer on the second floor.
Spa services are also excellent and you should not leave without a massage!
In short this is a place that I would highly recommend to anyone and would definitely return.
