“Go Amori!”

I am pleased to see the Amori Villas have accumulated even more fabulous reviews than when we stayed there last August. They completely deserve every accolade! We stayed 3 nights but wish it could have been much much longer. The service was impeccable, the food delicious (don't miss the Indonesian fried rice breakfast and divine mint tea with honey - I am drooling right now just thinking of it), and every staffer there was so pleasant and genuinely warm and eager to help. It's rare that you remember much about individual hotel staff after a vacation, but I can still recall their faces and names, they were that amazing. Our room was peaceful to the extreme and had a killer view of the valley. I was wary of the outdoor shower since mosquitoes are my ultimate nemesis but was able to use it without issue. The only drawback at all about Amori is that it's a bit off the beaten path and is difficult to find, but honestly in the end that added to the charm. Central Ubud is so crazy and overly touristed so I'm thrilled we ended up at this remote gem. This was a highlight of our trip to Bali. I would go back to Ubud just to stay at the Amori again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the valley and something on the top floor!

“ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 February 2012

We had a fabulous 11 nights in Ubud - 3 nights at Amori, 3 nights at Komaneka Tanggayuda then back to Amori for 5 more nights. We wished we could have stayed the whole time at Amori as even though we had a private pool villa at Tanggayuda, it seemed like Amori was all ours. Other guests were there but we enjoyed chatting and having drinks with them. The food was really good and the complimentary shuttle would drop us anywhere in town. We had dinner twice at Mozaic for New Year's Eve and our anniversary and the food was stunning - ask for a table by the greenery. The complimentary Amori Sensation mocktail on arrival was so good we had to order more during our stays.

We will definitely return.

Room Tip: We stayed 3 nights in the lovely Treehouse Villa first then when we returned to the Amori a few days...

We just spent seven nights and six days at Amori and enjoyed everything about it, particularly gazing out over the beautiful pool. Staff are lovely and attentive and we had lots of meals there which were very tasty. Interesting walks around the local village which was all dressed up for Galungan ceremonies. Very easy to get into Ubud centre, places of interest and other first class restaurants with drivers organised by Amori.

“Nice secluded villa”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

We, a couple was there with another couple with their 2 children, one helper and inlaws. The place is quiet and the staff are friendly and warm.

When you go to those 5 stars hotels, there are usually alot of pple at the pool and kids running about. Over at Amori, basically, we have the infinity pool to ourselves!
There's a wide range of movies DVDs to watch, music cds to enhance the ambience....

It helps also that there 's shuttle services to the ubud centre... since there are only 5 villas they are pretty flexible dropping you at your desired location and picking you up at the designated time.

We love the welcome drink! Really nice! If you arrive late and didnt manage to try, please ask for it!!!

We had valley 2... nice view of the valley... rooms are cosy(various lightings options available!), spacious and nicely decorated with paintings...

As we went fishing earlier, we brought back 1 huge MahiMahi and 4 tunas... The staff cook dinner for us from the catch... There was a cooking charge imposed on each person including children. I felt it was rather pricey. It was more than a meal outside at a decent restaurant for a whole family!

The massages offer was nice... try to call in massages during the evening... that's when most of the better masseuses are available (after office hours). We have the same masseuses every day - they are only available before 10am and after 6pm...

They were gracious to extend late check out to my friends till the time they have to leave for the airport... For myself, due to the popularity of valley view room, it was not available for late check out!

Overall, a great place for those seeking tranquilty and relaxing place with great personalised service!

Room Tip: Room 2 is nice, valley view, outdoor showers... but there are alot of people asking for room 2 the v...
