We loved our 7 night stay in Villa Sesapi - it was perfect for our family of four. Initially we had looked at booking upstairs and downstairs but soon realised the downstairs area would offer plenty of room for us all. The main bedroom is large with a king bed and single daybed. They put a second bed in our room and there was still plenty of space for us all. The bathroom was enormous as was the shower with plenty of cupboard/storage space too. The kitchenette was fine for our requirements as we ate out mostly, but we did appreciate the mid sized fridge for all our stocks and the water dispenser. There was a TV in the bedroom but not the living room which really wasn't a problem. The power points were a bit of a nuisance as our adapters and the hotels rarely worked so the laptop, camera, ipod etc were randomly charged at times when there was proper connection. This became increasingly frustrating towards the end of our 7 days, as there seemed no solution. The villas are located some distance from the main hotel but we really had no need to use the resorts facilities or even venture that way. They are in an excellent location at the closer end of Monkey Forest Road. We had some problems with the kids getting bitten by mosquitos at night, despite having coils and spraying. The staff did their best but we just couldn't get rid of them. The pool was clean and refreshing although a little cool for me. We ordered in room dining a few times and it was always very good. We also ate breakfast in their restaurant at the front of Monkey Forest Road and the service and food was always excellent. The staff at this resort are really what makes this place work so well. Everyone from grounds staff to cleaners, food and beverage staff, housekeepers - everyone offered a smile and hello. Every request was attended to immediately and I really can't find fault with anything and would happily recommend this property and hope to return one day.
