Super nice hotel, good service, nice pool and good food. Location on the rice fields and within a walking distance to all attractions and the old city of Ubud.
You must stay in the new part of the hotel which is about 4 stars level. The old part is much cheaper but also very old and worn.

Room tip: All the rooms in the new part of the hotel are nice. Avoid the old part of the hotel.

This was a fantastic hotel. We stayed in the second most expensive room. The only drawback is that you have to stay in the most expensive room to comfortably get more than two people in a room (we were three). Other than that, all was great. We didn't spend too much time at the hotel or at its amenities. We hung out on our deck and in the main lobby at night. The hotel is right next to some rice fields and the view from your deck is quite dramatic.

The location is right close to everything so that you can walk into Ubud which was an important factor to be able to get in and out of the town. The rooms were clean and had that authentic Balinese feel, not your typical hotel room. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. They helped us with our bookings and even provided some transportation around the area. If I come back to Ubud, I will definitely come back to Green Field.

We stayed in the family villa for 7 nights in March 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed Greenfields, the rooms were large and verandahs overlooking the ricefields were fantastic. we had two adjoining rooms, each with verandahs and had a large family room joining the two rooms which was grat for the 5 year and 1 year to play, eat, tap, etc as well as breakfast at the dining table.

service was fantastic, always a smile and ready to assist, plenty of towels at the pol which was a winner and the room service/food was good and reasonable price. the shuttle service is great and drivers were alaways friendly and helpful.

- fantastic beautiful clean comfortable rooms with Balinese charm and a gorgeous view
- excellent friendly happy staff and service
- lovely pool and gorgeous grounds
- loved the room service!
- great location.. not really close to the center, but near the monkey forest
- my second stay here, and would gladly stay here again.. first time i got the cheapest room, this time i got a superior room.. both rooms were more than great and service was great, no matter which room i had
- would love if the wifi reached the rooms, but the place is so spread out that its not really right to expect it

We returned recently from a 3-week stay at Hotel Green Field in Ubud and feel like we have been cast out of paradise. We fell in love with this place and its staff. They were extremely friendly, helpful and always in good mood. Our room (including a large marble bathroom) was spacious and overlooking the beautiful rice fields. From the huge balcony with a wonderful daybed we enjoyed the fabulous sun settings behind the rice-paddies and Monkey Forest. Also, we won´t forget the delicious breakfasts (with a platter of fresh fruit) served there every morning without charge.
The location of the hotel is excellent – quiet and peaceful, with lotus pond and abundant exotic vegetation – but nevertheless situated close to Ubud centre. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to the attractions and restaurants of Ubud until 10 pm. Several times, we had a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant as well. We also used the hotel mini-van service with driver at a moderate charge for our half-day and day-trips to famous sites and cultural events in Bali. We had so much fun chatting with and learning from these young men who became real friends to us, just like the reception staff.
We loved the salt-water pool (no chemicals) also overlooking the rice fields in a beautiful setting full of flowers such as bougainvilleas and orchids and enjoyed the bath-towel and restaurant service at the pool.
All in all, we can highly recommend Green Field in Ubud with its excellent value-for-money ratio, and we are definitely planning on going back to this lovely place as soon as possible.
