Bandung is well known a shopping destination in Indonesia but the city also hosted plenty of meetings, banquets and conventions so it is no surprise you will find plenty of accommodation to suits your need.

The latest addition to Bandung hotel is charming boutique hotel name Asmila hotel. It is located in Jl. Setiabudhi no 54 right in front a famous Factory Outlet called Rumah Mode.
I stayed here for two nights on a business trip, and I found the room to be clean and in excellent condition. The swimming pool is small but it’s enough to do a few lap, should need the exercise. The location is good since it is near an array of factory outlets and next to the hotel there’s Oh la la café that serves guest until 2 PM at night. To access the rest of the city you could find meter taxi in front of the hotel.

All in all I find this hotel to be the right mix of business and pleasure both for the business traveller or family looking for a weekend break.

We called into the Asmila this week for breakfast…..the Hotel is located right opposite the Rumah Mode factory outlet, so for visitors this is an ideal location.
For us, we live in Bandung and it is also “on the way” when we are driving down to the city.
Being a Boutique Hotel it is not large, but cozy and there are more staff than rooms, so guests will have excellent service.
Our breakfast was tasty, a buffet and walk-in guests are welcome.
We had look around with the Asmila GM, Mr Jamal giving us a personal guided tour….Mr Jamal has had executive positions at a leading Jakarta City Hotel and in the middle east….and do not be surprised if you are visiting and have a personal welcome from the GM of the Asmila.
For the traveler to West Java who wants a good base for either sightseeing or business, the Asmila seems to be ideally located. There are all the needed facilities for internet, a swimming pool, and spacious rooms….even the single rooms are luxuriously appointed. Local materials have been used and the decor is pleasing to the eyes.
There are several suites which have a separate bed room, a lounge room and a bathroom with a real bath……every room has a flatscreen TV, the suites have two. TV programmes are local and international, so you’ll be able to see events anywhere in the world.
Prices are reasonable…..and there are often special room rates.
It seems in Bandung more hotel rooms become available every week…this means more competition, excellent choice…we are very happy to discover the Asmila!
