We stayed 3 weeknights there on a short getaway. Checkin was smooth. Both the hotel and tower wings are only 4 stories high, and only the tower wing has elevators. We got a room on the 4th floor of the hotel wing but this was not a problem even if the bellhop had not carried our luggage because the front lobby level connects to the 3rd floor rooms. The room was nice and clean, and stocked with all the amenities expected of a Sheraton hotel. The surrounding grounds were beautifully landscaped and immaculately maintained. Although there is an outdoor children's clubhouse and play area, we were disappointed that organized children's activities were available only on weekends. Fortunately, there was a nice swimming pool area to keep our 8 year old son occupied when we were not out sightseeing or shopping. The hotel is located almost towards the northern outskirts of the city, and thus not within walking distance to downtown shopping and dining places. Therefore, evening dining options were limited to either the hotel's restaurant or a Thai restaurant across the street. Also, depending on who you talk to, you can request for a free hotel shuttle in the morning to the main outlet mall stretch ~1-2 km down the street. You can also ask for a pickup back to the hotel, but there is only 1 fixed pickup time of 3 pm which was not convenient. Taking a cab back to the hotel costs slightly more than the equivalent of USD 2, only because that is the minimum cab fare. For some local experience, however, we hopped onto one of the many "angkots" plying the hotel-outlet mall route, and paid the equivalent of only about a (US) quarter per person to get us back to the hotel. For some sightseeing, we booked a compact car and English-speaking driver from a third party vendor through the concierge, which cost us a reasonable ~USD 60 for 7.5 hours usage (not including entrance fees to attractions). The hotel is probably best during weekends, when it is likely to have more activities. For serious shopping and dining, a more centrally located hotel might be more appropriate.
