“Suitable for city explorer!”

It's one of my family's favorite hotel. The most important reason to always come back to this hotel is its location. It's in Jl Ir H Juanda or Dago street which is one of the most popular spot for tourist. It is surrounded by lot's of shopping places, restaurants, food stalls, mini markets, even pharmacy! Very convenient to know that everything we may need is in walking distance. The hotel is nice, simple, and clean. The service also warm and friendly. However, the parking lot is insufficient. More disaster when holiday season comes. We always trick this situation by having a driver so he can manage to find a parking spot. And also the security card system for the elevator is sometimes troubling when having relatives to come visit us in our hotel room.

Room Tip: The Executive Club room is very comfortable with our own snack room on the same level. We can have o...

“Decent hotel in very convenient location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

Being the first time traveller to Indonesia, I really liked Bandung city and the people. Bandung preserves the charm of city with local culture and cuisines unlike Jakarta which is more cosmopolitan and modern. Holiday Inn is conveniently located with lot of options to eat, shop and wander around. It is close to central business locations. I stayed for 4 nights. Hotel rooms are not very great. Infact they looked a bit jaded and off color. No complaints about hygiene and cleanliness. They did not provide complimentary internet and breakfast which was the first amongst my so many business travels. So did'nt use their restaurant and can't really comment about food. Paid for internet but had issues with connectivity for couple of times during the stay, though it did'nt take too long to fix it. TV channels did not offer anything interesting in Indian channels but they had some world channels to keep me busy when surfing. The work desk was not very comfortable for height and posture for laptop. Room had nice view of mountains which looked more beautiful during a rain. Staff was very courteous, polite and helpful with my queries. For currency exchange, ask from hotel concierge desk and they will guide you to money changer (forgot the name) which is 5 min walk out of hotel towards the left. It offers best rates and most reliable with no headache to bargain.

Room Tip: Choose a hill facing room on higher floor.

“Good location.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2011

I went during christmas so it was full house. I booked for 2 twin bed and 1 double bed rooms. But we got 3 double beds instead so the hotel offered to put extra beds free of charge. I thought I booked the rooms inclusive of breakfast turned out not (Consider that I booked with so-called "Best Flexible Rate" at $97).

One of the room (#406) smelled terrible like an abandoned room! The breakfast was quite boring as they served almost the same thing everyday. Yes it came with many choices but after 3 days eating the same thing, Ive had enough. And don't make me start with the wifi connection. Not free even at lobby, I mean come on, a small boutique hotel at jalan seram could provide that for FREE!

Good location was the reason why I chose Holiday Inn. That's all.

“Will stay here again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2011

After long journey by train to Bandung, tt was very kind of the check in staff to let me check in first by providing the booking number and details of room (coz i get the hotel to arrange additional bed) while waiting for my friend to arrive. The lobby look very smart and very clean. The floor going to the room is nicely carpeted and smell nice too. The room not very big but it was nicely arrange with soft pillows.
Breakfast is very nice with lots of variety of food and food are being re-fill on time. There are fresh juices and pastry served. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful.
I owe the staff big time coz I forgot to booked my transport back to jakarta airport and the staff help me to get a seat by calling different transport company (there have few transport go to jakarta airport) so that i am able to catch my flight on time. This really makes me feel good.
The hotel staff give me an unforgetable moment in this hotel and i will definately stay here next time.

“Best for a rest in Bandung”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 December 2011

You would think that staying in a hotel on the busiest street in Bandung would make it uncomfortable (well it would be uncomfortable if you plan to drive. Traffic is murder), but this hotel provides very nice rooms with top quality beds so you could sleep fatigue away after going around Bandung (whose traffic jams are equal to Jakarta, especially on a weekend). Absolutely love the choice of firm and soft pillows. So far, no other hotel in Indonesia has that.

Also, surprisingly (as I have low expectation for hotel food), the food at the Kebun Bambu restaurant was tasty. If you are new in town and want a traditional taste, I suggest the "nasi bakar" dish.

Service prompt and staff very attentive. If there was one drawback it's the lack of free internet access in the hotel. So actually, if you're on business and need internet access, be prepared to pay.
