The Padma Hotel Bandung has been like a family to us. We have been here for several times during our short break from Jakarta with our family. Although the location is a bit hidden behind the bustling and sometimes congested traffic of the main road of Bandung, our family always find peace and tranquility within the surroundings of the hotel. It also has one of the most stunning views, facing a vast greenery landscape. Do try to relax on its hot tub jacuzzi while enjoying the view to the valley, what a splendid mind rejuvenation it would be.
The room was excellent and in good condition. Everything is well maintained and well-kept. We stayed at the Presidential Suite which accommodated our big family with 2 boys and 2 babies. The room is spacious with nice bathroom. The main room faced directly to the greenery, whilst the bathroom faces the pool.
The butler service is also another additional positive aspect of this hotel (head butler is Mr Ludi). Friendly staffs are always readily available to meet your expectations, although I must say that during the holiday peak-season, ordering a room service can be a bit delayed. But this does not ruin the overall excellent service.
The restaurant is also another place with stunning views. With complimentary tea during afternoon tea time, you can relax accompanied with biscuits and a cup of hot tea whilst enjoying the breeze cold air and the stunning view.
Parking space is perhaps rather lacking, especially during holiday peak-season. I f you come back a bit late at night, you may have to go down the parking building next to the hotel which can be quite crowded.

Again, although the location is quite isolated, but it is accessible easily through Ciumbeluit road and from here you can go directly southward to Cihampelas, Setiabudi area within a short distance.

Average room and hotel quality of a 5 stars hotel but with an 8 stars service! Enjoyed the natural view and doing the inclusive facilities like trekking and flying fox! Awesome afternoon tea (the only hotel that provides free afternoon tea) and snacks and also extra tasty breakfast. I wish we stayed more than 1 night as I was too full to try out all the dishes that was provided there in the buffet breakfast. Candle lite dinner was really nice too and I've got to see the fire flies flying above us! (Haven't seen one in a while!!).

Glad to chat with all the super friendly staff there and happy to get to know Mr. Ludy who turned out to be my dentist colleague :).

Will definitely come back for another relaxing weekends.

Went there with my family.. Although bandung traffic was quite bad with heavy jam n uneven roads makes us giddy.. Nevertheless the hotel stay makes all those go away! The room was ok for deluxe.. I shall say standard for a 5star hotel.. Breakfast was good.. Many choices as well frm western to local.. Clean nice view.. Not freezing cold aircon so our night was comfy.. One thing abt Padma tht is outstanding is the service.. All the staff will greet u with a smile wherever u are.. The room attendents are all so sweet they left u with surprises aft they clean ur room like a stalk of rose and a fold-up towels shaped like a duck..(only if u left a tip i think ;p ) 24hr butler service left us with a WOW!! They surprise us with a bdae slice cake.. One of them call us in our room to remind us tht our fav show is on tv.. One is particular we want to highlight is butler named AJI... He is fantastic!! He arranged our tours.. On his off day he followed and bring us all out to great places.. He helped us negotiate on discounts.. Bring us to great eating places from fine dining(thts freaking affordable) to local delights such as da side street food tht he feels is safe for our tummy.. All those xtra service is free!(of cos we tipped him) End of our stay he brought his wife along to met us at the airport b4 his shift to sent us off and bought us some local delights.. We feel as though he was our friend instead of da hotel butler.. We had soo much fun we wished our stay is longer.. Padma.. Ur recommended! Thumbs up.. From Hermy and Samat family from Singapore

Ussually a slogan is to good to be true, BUT this one is 100% RIGHT!
We had a wonderful time for 10 days.
And they should mention in their slogan the fantastic food in this hotel!
