I came on 21st Dec, stayed only one night with my daughter. Just for a short trip, ..
but this hotel is more than I could expect. I booked last minute through Agoda, ...

I came early, around 9am, so the room was still not ready ( it was full house). But to my surprise, the ambiance of this hotel is very calming and homey. The check in went smoothly and the staff were very friendly. I left the luggage at concierge and went to see Tangkuban Perahu Crater. I didn't have a chance to rent a car, so just decided to take my daughter to have kinda of adventure taking the public transport.

At the front of the hotel, which is jalan Sukajadi, you can hop to the local transport called Angkot to Lembang. However if you want to go to Tangkuban perahu during the wkday, there'll be no angkot to go to the top of the Crater. At lembang we just rent one Angkot to brought us up. Kinda of experience.

When we returned around 3pm, the room was ready.
we asked for Non Smoking Room, and they gave us the room in the new wing, six floor. This wing side was just finished being built 8 months ago. We got a view of mountains and beautiful sunrise.
I like the room as it was clean. It has the tea-coffe-kettle set, not much but they provide it. The programmes on TV were provided by cable TV so it's good. The shower room is clean, it didn't have shower curtain but the glass cover is sufficient to keep the water not splattered around. Need to request the hair dryer.
The toiletries are basic standard. the only problem is the water leaking from the clean water pipe of the toilet..but as it's not creating problem, I just let it be (only made the corner of the bathroom a bit wet).

The breakfast is so-so. They provide Indonesia's style buffet : steam rice, nasi goreng, fried noodle, some side dishes for the steam rice, Indonesia's chicken porridge, coffee was very very watery, the simple fruit punch and fruit juice, egg station. Over all is ok for the standard you pay.
A friend of mine came down after bfast hour was over, she bought from the menu and we love the Teh Poci taste. She ordered Nasi Bakar set which is fine and from the menu list, the food is at reasonable price. The Bandrek and Pisang Goreng Kipas were also nice. We just sat beside the pool.

Things that I love so much from this little hotel is the feeling like am staying home.
I love the decoration for Christmas as they used local craft, they decorate the hotel with lots of antiques. The pool is small and the water was very cold, I think is normal as Bandung is in the high location area. The pool is sufficient if the children just want to play with water :-)

This hotel also near to Paris Van java Mall (in case you need anything to buy back home, at Paris van java mall, it has Carrefour supermarket which sold lots of local product), nice restos, shops. Or .. if you like to go to rumah mode, just flag taxi and the ride is nothing more than 10 minutes away (as long as there's no traffic jam).

Will definitely recommend this place.
