Why the title? It's because the hotel is full of cigarettes' smell.
In the rooms' hallway, you already can smell a strong cigarettes' smoke. In the room, you also can smell it and if you stay longer, the smell is getting stronger and stronger. I've turned on the air conditioner but no change at all. Maybe because there's also NO WINDOW in the room.
I called the receptionist once I noticed that the bedding had a cigarette's stain and ashes on it.
When I asked for a non smoking room, she said that the hotel is all smoking-free area.
WTH! Doesn't the hotel management realize that it's against government's rule?? Oh wait.. this is Indonesia.. anyway..
Then someone came to my room and turned on the bathroom's "blower" but it has no affect at all. I felt sick after staying 1 hour in the room. So I asked the receptionist again (it's a guy this time) to move me to any room that has less smoking's odor but he said the same thing as the woman before. So, he suggested to use air freshener. I was too tired and sick to argue, so I let them sprayed the freaking useless air freshener. Luckily, I only have to stay another 9 hours in the room before I check out so I don't have to deal with having lung cancer just because of the room.
Location is not too strategic cause no convenience store nearby and it's in the middle of residential area so no mall or store nearby as well. But a lot of taxis outside the hotel.
Bathroom is alright, it's clean and complete with amenities.
Breakfast is a no-no. Very little choice of food and it's not even tasteful.
Overall, if you are a smoker and you don't care about hygiene, you can always pick this hotel. The price is reasonable anyway. What you pay is what you get, I guess.
