Stayed this hotel for work for 2 nights. This hotel takes security seriously. Barrier gates and security guard greets you first as you enter the hotel compound and you proceed to zig zag your to the way passing the barriers.

Staffs are friendly. Greet you anywhere you go around the place. There is a dedicated person ensure you checked proper and escorts you up to your floor.

Room
- Vintage look. Smaller compared to Gran Melia, Jakarta (Got spoiled by them)
- I had a nice swimming pool view
- LCD TV
- Broadband Internet via cable. It's fast (Huge thumbs up for this)
- Shower was ok. Hot and cold worked fine.
- Bath tab had some issue. Maintenance worker attended to the issue within minutes.

Breakfast
- Usual spread of Western, Japanase and Indonesian

Swimming
- Starts from 1m up to 2.4m (Yes, it's deep). Kids pool available.

This hotel is large and spacious. It does not have that much to offer with the location. The rooms are clean and quiet. Staff is friendly.

Stayed in the Horizon Club, was a little disappointed with the standard of canapes (chicken burgers and mini pizzas), certainly didn't live up to expectations.
The suite was large although is probably due for renovation.
The pool area was adequate and swim up bar was okay.
We couldn't book a spa treatment as they were all unavaiable.
Service in the Club Lounge was good.
Location was okay about 20 minutes from the airport - and the conceirge (provided by Shangri-La at the airport was a major plus - especially considering Lion Air had sold our onward tickets - he was an enormous help, we would otherwise been in a sticky situation.
