the first impression to this place made me feel angry. the receptionist "lady" who answered my call made me angry (It was on 22nd Jan 2012 at 16.15). what kind an attitude to customer, she was not very friendly and so emotionally answering my question (i booked already the villa). I just thought that she just got on her "period" ...how come the management didn't train their crew....huh!
Because of i already booked this place, i just went there. The villa is nice and peaceful and very quite. I and my family could enjoy the swimming pool, like our own swimming pool and also the beach.
the beach is not so clean, there are spoiled oil or fuel, so i decided not to swim in the beach instead of swimming and got the spoiled oil attached to our body. but you can see many shells and small crab, and also sea weed. the fish jetty is quite nice, we could see the fish and fishing.
Quite dissapointed to the bridge that connected to Turi Beach, the bridge was broken so we couldn't go to Turi beach from Nongsa village beach. In their webiste, nongsa village sister is nongsa marina point and turi beach and mentioning we can use the facilities(swimming pool, gym, sport, etc) in both places but you must pay. It's not free!!!....
I went there with my family members, 6 adults. Ours is a double story villa and there is 3 bedrooms. There is also a kitchen which is suitable for us as my mum will cook our breakfast and dinner. There is no restaurant nearby so you have to either take the transport to the town to eat or buy ingredients from the hypermarket and cook yourself. Our villa is 5 minutes walking distance to the beach and swimming pool. You can also see the monkeys hanging out the area so it is a good time to get in touch with mother nature.
Basically I took the online deal to went Nongsa Resort, Batam. And my experience was very pleasant and smooth right from the departure from Singapore ferry terminal to Batam ferry terminal. Then resort’s staff were there to receive us and provide helpful.
Staff is very co-operative they have given room before check-in time and then we have explored their resort and went for some water game, swimming pool etc. There is nice board walk which allows you see beach from bit center of the beach, it also gives nice view of the entire resort from board walk.
We went there 4 adults and 2 kids over the weekend to Nongsa village. It's a serene place where the kids saw that fruits grew on trees. The staff are helpful but available only during the day.
Remember to bring your food as there are no restaurants!
Or else take the resort van to the market and buy you own food, it's expensive at 22$ a pop but then you can make a trip and get all yo need.
Recommended to take your fist
Jon gear along as they have jetty for the sport going deep in the sea.
An ideal place to relax and just lie around....
