Stayed here for 5 nights snd was very impressed . Friendly staff , lovely rooms and a great breakfast . Highly recommended .

booked The Nap over the courtyard at Marriott after reading positive reviews on trip advisor.

On checking in, liked the hotel very nice architecture and interiors. Nice welcome drink, free mini bar, good free wi fi, all positives.

Arrived at night and went to the lively bangle road, etc.
Breakfast was nice too.
But upon returning from breakfast discovered that the housekeeping staff had come to clean the room and we had MONEY MISSING. Did not find the attitude of the staff at the front office encouraging or helpful.
Another negative was that only a few people of staff both at front desk and restaurant can converse in english.

Given that the food at breakfast was good, decided to opt for the christmas eve buffet dinner, which was simply AWEFUL. Probably the worse, most tasteless food i have ever had, everything was COLD...even the bread was not fresh...

all in all...would definitely not go there again. intact would recommend couples or family groups going to phuket to stay at kata/ karon instead...much much nicer

The whole place had a wonderful atmosphere... from the clean rooms, free drinks in mini bar, rocking chair in the lobby, great bar service by the pool .... (didnt want to leave the hotel on my last day) Drinks were really cheap during happy hour.

My flight was at 10.00pm in the night, though I could not have a late checkout, the staff arranged for me to have a shower before my flight which was great.

All in all, the nap made patong a great stay.

The only thing that could be improved was service could be a little better during breakfast.

Our experience at the Nap was perfect. I spent hours researching places to stay and this turned out a winner. Good location if you want to experience the town. The beach is very close, we just weren't interested in spending time there (we did walk to it and its close). The service throughout was perfect. Gym was nice to get a little workout in. Close to everything...shopping, restaurants, bank, massage places, beach etc. Breakfast buffet and service was excellent. My only complaint is that we didn't remember when we were there that the mini bar was free, i was just reminded by these trip advisor reviews....no one told us. Concierge was great and helped us book tickets to Fantasea and we had great seats. Rooms were super clean and updated. Loved this place, the extra touches. An excellent value. Taxi stand on the other side of the street allowed easy access to taxi's and to the airport.
