We were travelling with a large family group, 3 adults and 3 children, (from Australi) so we were so happy to find a Disney good neighbour hotel which would accomodate all of us in one room for a very affordable price. The hotel itself was well maintained. The exterior & interior finishes were all new & made a good first impression. The room itself was considerably large for Japanese standards. While the furnishings were quite dated & very basic, the room was clean & served our purpose. We were only there to sleep in it. There was a separate toilet with ALL the mod cons. Never seen so many buttons/functions attached to a toilet! The kids loved the heated toilet seat! The bathroom had a japanese style tub & separate wet area/shower. All spotlessly clean. Their was also an attached vanity area so that if the bath or shower was being used, you could still use the vanity area (basin/mirror). This was very useful with so many of us needing to do teeth etc. The room itself had tea facilities & we brought our own coffee. Tv - we didnt really watch as there were no english channels except for news. We were hardly in the room anyway. There wwere complimentary robes & slippers for everyone. The room configuration was 2 double beds & 2 single beds. Transport to and from the Disney resort was via a free hotel shuttle which travelled every 10mins or so. We really never waited moe than a few minutes for it & always got a seat in both directions. It also took us to the train station (across from the Disney resort) & the Japan version of Downtown Disney. (Plenty of dining, Planet Hollywood, Rainforest Cafe, italian, japanese eating places & shopping opportunities) Very convenient. Even if travelling into Tokyo or beyond, the free shiuttle meant we travelled to the Disney resort & then walked across the bridge to get to the main train station which serviced all parts of the country. The hotel also had a small gift shop, grocery store for milk, drinks etc & also a restaurant which served breakfast daily. The breakfast was buffet style, both japanese & western foods & operated via a vending machine. You simply paid via the machine which gave you a coupon to enter the dining area. From what I remember, it was very minimal, approx $6 per adult. Buffet consisted of a variety of japanese foods + sausages, eggs, bacon, soups, breads, pastries, tea, coffee, juices etc. It was great value for money. The staff were incredibly helpful & really went above & beyond. One night we needed transport to the local shopping centre but as it was late & not much shopping time left, one of the staff drove us in his own car to get us there quickly. The area is so safe & even at night we were able to walk to the local shopping centre. No hesitation recommending this hotel. We would definitely stay there again.
