Family of 4 with 2 young kids. We decided to base ourselves near Disneyland and travel into Tokyo To explore the city.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton. Great value for Tokyo. Huge room with plenty of room for our family - even provided child-size slippers for the kids!

Free bus to the monorail servicing Disneyland and Disneysea. Only minutes away (you can walk to the monorail if you want!).

Free bus also to train station where we could catch a train to Tokyo. About 20 minutes away. Staff at the station helped us buy tickets etc (the machine was really complex and in Japanese!).

Beautiful hotel. Indoor heated pool, mini golf, even an arcade! Self service laundry room was a bonus for us.

Very helpful staff. You can buy tickets to Disneyland and Sea at the hotel. No cost difference.

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. The monorail to the parks is directly across the street from the hotel and very convenient. The first portion of our trip was to spend time touring the different areas of Tokyo. The monorail connects to the JR Maihama rail/subway station which takes you directly into Tokyo. The subway system looks daunting at first, but if you realize that there are 2 different "owners" of the lines, it's pretty simple to figure out. The ride in from Disneyland is about 15 minutes.

We were on the Club Floor (11th) of the hotel, with a view out towards Disneyland from our room and towards Mt. Fuji from the Club Room. We are a family of 4 with 2 grown children (18 and 21), so we had 3 beds - a bit crowded - but not too bad. The bathroom is small, but it has a large bathing area which includes a tub and a place to stand for showers. The Club amenities were fine. We enjoyed the free beer and wine each evening with small appetizers. I especially enjoyed the automatic latte machine and wish I could have taken it home with me!

Staff was wonderful in helping us get our transportation to the airport. There was always someone around who could speak English. I really recommend if you want to visit Disney.

This hotel is one of about 6 that are linked to Disneyland and Disneysea via monorail as well as being serviced by the Disney Bus.
The rooms are small, tiny bathrooms, but we were here to visit the theme parks so the location was the primary concern. The family room (2 adults and 2 children) was about a third of the size of our room at the Granvia in Kyoto.
I would stay here again but only if I could get 2 interconnecting rooms.
Check in was fantastic just near the train station, and we could go straight into the parks. Our bags were in our room when we returned from Disneyland.
Our room had a great view over the theme parks and we could watch the evening fireworks from our balcony.

We booked to meet with family living in Japan and to be able to visit Disneyland with our Kiwi/Japanese grandson. Our room was on the family floor. The staff were very helpful in arranging for us to have rooms next door to each other which was great. Getting to Disneyland with a baby was a short walk across a crossing and on to the Disneyland train, so easy with a buggy. The staff were more than helpful in everyway. Children are special guests here. The bonus for us was Mt Fuji greeting us and a beautiful sunset. Thank you, we would stay at the Sheraton Grande again especially to enjoy Christmas. The hotel was full of Christmas joy.
