This is a small Malay style motel.I love this place.The room in large enough,with a foyer type area and a front veranda.Hot water,aircon,its hard to believe this is 4 years opkld,still very good and very clean.The owner,Yussef is a friewndly guy,i said the only thing i miss is an electrixc kettle fdor coffee,it was delivered to my roopm in minutes.The landscaped gardens are a shangri -la,beautifully set out and maintained.Location is good,5 mins walk to beach and restaurants,also an internet cafe at front,laundry at front as well,Yussef tells me wi fi is on.Rates are vbery reasonable for what you get here.If you want a 5 star reasort,you need to go elsewhere,only 9 rooms here,but very nice.

it's at the side of a main road, walking distance to Pantai Tengah and Pantai Cenang, and all those famous restaurants. Clean, air-coned, TV, refregirator, and free parking, plus there's internet bar just at the entrance of the motel. Although we had some unhappy episode at the first night there, Yusuff, the owner, found us somewhere to say at least, and that was a hotel at the beach. We like Desa more coz it's quiter. A good sleep is very important after a full day sight seeing, water sports and driving.

A suggestion to the owner: credit is essential to a business owner, a room booking means you MUST space a room for the guest, especially when the guest has paid for that booking. If the previous guest doesn't want to leave, THEY should be the one to be sent to other hotels.
