Awana made my honeymoon special. Its location is awesome and has waterfront. The staff is very helpful and cooperative. My room was upgraded and also provided me the waterfront.

They have their private island where you can have nice time and enjoy in lonely.

Its a great place to stay with friends, family and spouse.

I would recommend to stay at Awana Portomalai

the hotel position is one of the best you can find in Langkawi: near enough to anything you want to do or see, and far enough from the the smell and the crowd of Pantai Cenang.
the staff is were helpful and kind, tha breakfast (we didn't have lunch or dinner at the hotel) was good for western and eastern people.
the gave us two connecting rooms, and one of them was a superior one, without any more charge. :-)
the worst thing were rooms condition and the general cleaniness..
dust is everywhere, curtains were supposed to be white but they are leopard-style..
but nothing you can't stand, if you have a sea-view room.. ;-)

This is the right place for those -
who want to pass vacation with full silence...
who wnat to stay far away from the crowd…
who wants to see wonderful scenery all around them...

You can see the blue water and green small islands from your bed ... its an awasome experience..

Main disadvantage is : you will always need to car/taxi/motocycle to reach the beaches, markets, food resturants..

Far away from the main crowd area along the beach...need a taxi full time at your door to go any place..they have rated themselves 4.5-5 star whereas its a normal hotel with nothing really great...the views from the windows can be enjoyed at any place in langkawi...
