First time travel to Cameron Highland and only get to stay for 1 night..Its a good stay and comfortable..Breakfast was awesome..really love it..The hotel located near to town area..Easy excess to the night bazaar market, shops & malls..

Decent plc to stay with family. Average breakfast, beds are comfortable.

The school behind the hotel,school bells rings early in the morning, and after every 30 to 45 min. so it's time to wake up and make your day trip

Good location, easy accessible for food and night market. The hotel has it's own parking bay

During our recent trip to Cameron, we decided to stay in a different hotel. Located in the heart of Brinchang, the Hotel Rosa Passadena must be one of the oldest hotels in the area. Since it was the holiday season, the hotel charged us RM 180 per room per night (prices subjected to change). Here's my review of the hotel:

Location:
- Excellent
- Easy access to the night market, morning market and shops
- 8km from Tanah Rata town
- 10 mins drive from Kea Farm Market

Room:
- Two twin beds / One double bed
- Bathroom attached
- Towels, soap and shampoo provided
- Has fridge and tea/coffee making facilities
- Has a mini safety deposit box available

Pros:
- Good location
- Good service. One night when we came back there was no hot water (shower) and the manager gave us the keys to the opposite room to use the shower.

Cons:
- Old and not maintained at all
- Room had a cockroach
- Floors of the bathroom is dirty
- Is located opposite a mosque so you would hear the loudspeakers every morning at 5:30 a.m.
- One of the lights started flickering by itself in the middle of the night, even though it was off (kinda reminded me of a ghost hotel... lol)

It is not a five-star hotel, there's no doubt about it. But that doesn't mean that this is one hotel that you should totally avoid. For its reasonable price, the hotel is indeed one which will suit those with limited budget.

The interior of the hotel is not bad although it certainly can do with some refurbishments here and there. One draw back to the hotel is certainly the elevators which I think is small to accommodate too many people. Thus, don't be surprise if you have to wait for some time before getting your ride.

The room is rather spacious although it looks obvious that the beds had seen better days. Again the rooms could also use some refurbishments.

Parking facility is also another big headache as there does not seem to be ample parking spaces. It is a kin to the survival of the fittest where the driver the fastest eyes and fastest reflexes will get the parking space. On weekends and public holidays, locating a proper parking space can be a real test on your nerves.

Despite these shortcomings, I have to admit that its plus point is its strategic location, Smack right in the middle of Brinchang town, it is just a walking distance to some of the attractions around, including the famous Brinchang night market.

Suffice to say, with a limited and tight budget, this hotel is indeed perfect.
