“Great stay!!!”

I've stayed at lime tree hotel, with my boyfriend, for 5 days in january. Overall a great stay, staff was very friendly and service minded and made us feel welcome. The room was clean and nicely decorated in a minimalistic style. The hotel is situated in chinatown, within short walking distance from most sites. The breakfast was varied, and had a lot of choices. I would certainly recommend a stay in this lovely hotel.

“A hotel we would certainly recommend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 February 2012

The Lime Tree hotel is located just a 5 minute walk from the riverfront.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a rain shower in the bathroom. The staff is very efficient, but helpful and friendly. You are offered a welcome drink in the Rooftop Lounge, which offers a nice view of the city.

Nice variety of good tasting food for breakfast, with efficient staff making sure everything is available.

In short, this is a very well run hotel that offers great value for money, we would certainly stay here again!

“a nice place to arrive”

If you arent in the market for the Hilton or Pullman I would reccomend the Limetree hotel. The service was strong with the only issue there being no one at the door to help bring in the bags (something thats been commented on before) Otherwise the hotel was safe and clean with a relaxing decor. The free wifi also places the hotel ahead of the Hilton where I was charged 25 ringit for an hours use. If you arent in need of spa and gym I would say save your pennies and go to the Limetree Hotel based on its great service and value for money.
The hotel manager in particular knows how to run a hotel!

Room Tip: get a delux room for the added safe they provide

“A fresh place to be”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

First off, congrats to Julie, Serinah and all the staff at LimeTree for the double award. I've been meaning to put down my review for a long time so this looks to be a good time to finally do it.

I travel often to Kuching for work and have settled on the LimeTree Hotel as THE place to stay, factoring both my budget and the niceness of the hotel. I'll start with my gripes though - the Superior and Deluxe rooms are smaller and less well-equipped compared to standard hotel rooms (no wardrobe, no mini bar, no safety deposit box). Noise insulation in the Superior room is pretty poor.

Furthermore... actually there is no "furthermore". My gripes end here.

My favourite thing about this place is how clean it is. As a traveller, I know how cleanliness just about tops the list of requirements people look for in a place to stay. Not only is it clean, the generous use of lime-infused products such as room fragrance and toiletries give the whole place a fresh and zesty atmosphere. The bedding is also rather top notch in comfort. It all adds up to a place that is good for unwinding at the end of a long day, and great to wake up to as well.

Location is pretty good, right in town. Not exactly right smack in the middle of the tourist hotspots, but I'm sure most tourists wouldn't mind walking a little way out and absorb a little of the street life along the way. Also, plenty of bars line the route from the waterfront for those who get thirsty along the way back.

All in all, the LimeTree is a gem of a hotel. Not the cheapest around, but good value for the comfort and cleanliness it provides.

Room Tip: If you're wiliing to fork out a little more, and don't mind a smaller room, choose the Delux...

Dear chiselstone,

Thank you very much for your support and kind words; I am truly proud of our team of unique individuals whose objective is to ensure our guests' experience is a memorable and seamless throughout their stay. We are grateful for the support from our all guests, which attributed to our success as a winner for TripAdvisor's Traveler's Choice Award!

We appreciate the time you have taken to review your stay with us and for your commendation of us to others. We are also thrilled to learn that you are in tune with our core values to always prioritise cleanliness, value and comfort - all through the goodness of our limes!

Your constructive feedback is much appreciated; with regard to the Superior and Deluxe rooms, they are currently equipped with specially-designed compact wardrobes to suit their room layout. Larger wardrobes are offered in Executive Deluxe, Suites and Family rooms. Management will also consider introducing mini-fridges for the Superior and Deluxe rooms in the near future. Individual safety boxes in a CCTV-linked room are available at our lobby. We are concerned about the discomfort experienced from the noise disturbance you had mentioned; I will ensure our maintenance team looks into the matter of sound insulation for the Superior room.

Once again, thank you for your review and we look forward to welcoming you again to The LimeTree Hotel!

Best regards,

Julie Tay - Resident Manager

“Good hotel but expensive and far from water front”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012 via mobile

The hotel is nice. They have a shuttle to go to nearby places and airport on payment. The hotel provides umbrellas also.
It is located a bit far from the warerfront and you can not just walk down. The price also seemed to be higher.

Dear msrinivas,

Thank you for choosing to stay with us during your trip to Kuching last year and for taking the time to share your feedback. I am pleased to know that you found our shuttle services useful, and despite experiencing much rainfall during your visit then, we hope you managed to make the most of what Kuching had to offer!

It takes an 8-10 miutes walk to reach the Waterfront from our hotel, as we are located within the Chinatown Padungan and are minutes away from eating places and shopping malls.
For your future reference, please feel free to enquire with our Reservations team regarding our room types in order to meet your travel requirements, as we have several categories of rooms and suites with varying amenities for our guests' comfort.

Our guests will always be our top priority and we remain committed in providing excellent service, comfort and value to our guests. Your comments are most appreciated and we look forward to welcoming you again. In the meantime, wishing you safe travels!

Best regards,
