I've stayed for 2 nights to avoid morning traffic since I need to arrive early at Subang Parade from 28 to 29 Nov, 2011 for the sales promotion campaign. Facilities provided for the Deluxe Room are very basic, comfy enough for nap if you're busy workin daytime. Good thing no entertainment business located nearby, so night is quiet and peacefull. No breakfast provided but there are many coffee house downstairs. Ample parking after 7pm. Single ladies and brief family stay should be okay. But do remember this is not even 3 star rated hotel. Overall just OK, safe, adequately clean and good for a nice nap and shower (hot one provided).

PJ De Inn and Lisa De Inn are under the same management, but located in different places within Petaling Jaya suburb.

For easy access to public transports, I would recommend PJ De Inn. The Asia Jaya LRT (Light-Rail Transit) Station is located a mere 10 minutes walk from the hotel - could be less, depending on your speed. Hop on the LRT and it will take you straight into the city, easy-peasy. Besides that, there are plenty of buses around that area that links you to other suburbs and even take you straight to KL City. Taxis are easily available around the area too. Plus points for that.

Rooms at PJ De Inn are okay in my opinion. Nothing fancy, let me warn you. The hotel is a 4-storey double (or triple) shoplot, with a penthouse on the renovated rooftop area. Nevertheless, the rooms are decent for sleeping. Breakfast served in the morning is nothing to shout about. However, there are plenty of food stalls and restaurants around the hotel that serve scrumptious and cheap hawker food (day-and-night). On a brighter note, the hotel staff is very friendly and try their best to tend to the guests' needs. There is also a small luggage storage at the lobby.

I stayed there for 6 nights in a standard twin-sharing room, under my organisation's corporate account. All bookings were made online with speedy replies from the manager (email can be found on their website).

**Taxi Tips**
1. It costs approximately MYR65 to get here from the airport (use the taxi coupon system) before midnight. After midnight, you have to pay an additional 50% surcharge.
2. If the taxi driver is not sure of the hotel's location, ask him to head to PJ Hilton. Right opposite PJ Hilton is a KFC, taxi has to take a right at that junction into the row of shops. PJ De Inn is located almost at the end of the road, on your left. You won't miss it.

Stayed here for 5 nights and booked and paid directly on arrival to the hotel after being recommended by my friend. It was reasonable with the cost being around 100 RM per day for a single room. They only had the Japanese style room left so i took it.

The Room:

Had a mattress on the floor, decent bedsheets and duvet and was quite comfortable. Airconditioning works well and had a TV with some basic channels, but not HD.Room also had a bedside table and desk which the TV sat on.

The Bathroom:

Bathroom was a fixed shower head but was clean and decent. They also included some amenities such as soap.

Facilities:

I didn't try the food in the hotel so cannot comment. They also had a gym but unfortunately everytime I wanted to use it, it was locked. They also had a health studio as advertised.

Area:

The area had some good food places and shopping malls (1Utama) but you really need a car to get around, taxi's are often unreliable and often a rip as they don't use meters. You need to get a decent price and haggle. Most of all you must be careful around Malaysia, as crime is quite rampant with an often unsympathic/ unhelpful police force. I wouldn't go around on your own if your a girl.

Overall I enjoyed my stay, the room was quiet and I was not disturbed once. Nothing brilliant about the hotel, but nothing bad either.

Cheap and excellent value at a nice and clean hotel.

a group of 5 of us stayed here to go to a wedding in the area and we had a great time.The rooms are large and beds are comfortable although the bathrooms need a re-vamp and some of the wallpaper and furnishings are a little scuffed. The PJ de Inn is on a street of shops and restaurants including a great fish place, a noodle bar and a great tandoori around the corner. The hotel staff were very accommodating and retrieved a lost phone charger as we were leaving the rooms. Just around the corner is 'Asia Jaya' station which has trains which go right into the center of KL very frequently. We had a great time. Thank you.
