I have traveled to Kuala Lumpur very often on business and stayed at some hotels in the Shah Alam area. It was always a challenge, service was normally not very good, rooms pricey but not up to standard.

So I was very pleasantly surprised when we stayed at The Club (this was the first time we were trying it). It is a haven in the hustle and bustle of Shah Alam: lovely location, big rooms that are clean and in good shape, complimentary amenities that are a special touch, very friendly and competent staff to name a few!

Coming back to the hotel after a long day filled with back-to-back meetings was a treat!!!

I must admit that I never looked forward to coming to KL on business before, because of the negative experiences I had had in the other hotels. But after this stay, I must admit that I have changed my mind :)
I will definitely choose The Club when I am in KL next: on business or pleasure. Thank you for making my stay such a memorable one!

What a warm and cozy resort to find in the busy townships of Shah Alam and Subang. Being here, you feel like you have travelled far for a relaxing holiday!

The room was clean and very comfortable; and the in-room coffee machine and complimentary mini bar (chocolates, biscuits, nuts, loose tea leaves) were a big plus.

What made our stay excellent was the wonderful service in the hotel. From the reception staff to the restaurant crew, their warmth, friendliness and genuine effort in wanting to make our stay pleasant set it apart from other five-star establishments.

The food at their restaurant was also very good, albeit pricey. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, which featured a small but a very good selection of fresh and quality items to go with the freshly cooked mains (eggs, deli-meats, pancakes, etc) that we can order.

Would be going back! Highly recommended for short getaways.

Last week I stayed at your hotel resort, from Monday, December 12 through Friday, December 16.
I travel for business in the USA, Canada and Europe, but this was my first visit to the eastern part of the world.
As I told some of your staff upon checkout, I have NEVER felt more welcome at any hotel!
The warmth and friendliness of the staff, in addition to the service was almost overwhelming.
Needless to say, the facility is also outstanding.

So, the wife and I have just come back from four excellent days at Kuala Lumpur's 'Luxury Urban Retreat' having been thoroughly pampered and fed. As you may have seen in my other Trip Advisor reviews, when we go away we really are looking for the best of the best and as far as a Luxury City Resort goes, the Club at Saujana Resort has got to be up there with the best anywhere.

So why did we choose the Club at Saujana Resort? We did the usual and browsed the internet and found a well known Luxury Publication, with Nast in the name stating that this place was one of the best hotels of its type, that's a lot of praise to live up to and for me a bit of a personal challenge to see if this was true.

From the time we arrived to the time we left, the resort didn't fail to impress. It's always nice to go somewhere that treats you a bit special and goes the extra mile to anticipate what you want. I noticed someone had previously commented that the staff were, let's say too enthusiastic to the point of annoyance?! Come on - when you spend good money going to a luxury resort you want to be pampered, you want to be fawned upon, you want the 'all hail me' - well I do!

The accomodation was impressive, we took a Superior Suite which offered us all that we would want, big LCD TV's. luxury bathroom, big living/dining rooom, cakes, sweets and 'nick nacks' and a huge comfortable bed. Only slight annoyance were the dressing gowns, they were either made for marathon runners or we had one ladies gown and another ladies gown!

Breakfast in the morning was wide ranging and of a high quality, afternoon cocktails and canapes were a nice warm up to the main the event 'Dinner in the restaurants', all I can say about the food is wow.... Senja Restaurant was amazing and the Food at the Restaurant in the Club at Saujana was right up there with it.

I did also give the golf a try, being on my own I needed a playing partner so got the resort manager to play and all I can say is beautiful course coupled with my poor golfing ability and pre-prepared excuses equals a hot frustrating day! and since when did the highest score not win in a game?

In a nutshell, I really liked it here and can now see why it has the great reputation it does and judging by the reviews others have left, I'm not the only one. I will definately be going back again.
