After more than 10 years, I'm back to Kuala Terengganu and was really surprised to see the changes to the town. Heard this hotel is currently one of the best at KT on a high rise 19th floor beside the river. The design is a bit weird as the reception is located on the 2nd floor. Free Wifi is only available around the lobby area and the restaurant is on the top floor overlooking the river. The breakfast is good but it might get crowded at certain times and you have to wait before the staff comes to clean up the table. This hotel is also walking distance to Chinatown and Waterfront. Have a very good night sleep in this hotel as well!

We spent one night in this hotel. The room is in the average, not bad, not tremendous. There is either street view or harbour view (we got the street view: it was not noisy at all). The room is standard, not unforgettable. The bathroom also. The fitted carpet was old and stained but the bed was ok and clean. The breakfast is nice and proposes continental and local food (more local than continental however). We arrived early by the night bus and hoped we could get our room but the hotel informed us we would be charged another night if checking in before 2 pm so we decided to wait and start our visit. However, Terengganu is not a necessary stop in Malaysia, far from it.

We highly enjoyed our three day´s stay at the Felda Residence. The position, commanding a splendid view on Trengganu river and in walking distance of waterfront, Chinatown and market, is very convenient. The staff was most attentive and the butter prawns at the downstairs open air restaurant were delicious. We had a spacious, well equipped and bright room. In addition the value for money is very good.
