Location fairly good, not too far from the city centre, with several good restaurants nearby. Nevertheless quite a distance to get to the well known central market (pasar payang). Hotel service rather average, some of the staff may need further customer service training. Breakfast is fairly good, especially the variety of local dishes included, some of which are changed daily - a big plus.

I should have guessed from the poor response to accomodation enquiry that this was to be a bad choice, but given the limited options in Kuala Terrenganu city centre and lack of availability at other hotels, I had to go with it. For a new/recently refurbished hotel, it was dissapointing. Room walls were covered in a previous guest's artwork. I could not shower unless I cleaned up the bathroom myself. Carpets were in poor condition. I did hand in a house keeping info sheet requesting the clean up, but nothing was done. On the plus side, the trainee staff were eager to help and were very friendly. Family Room was of a decent size but only catered for one child. Breakfast selection was very limited as well.

Hotel rate is affordable and value for money. To begin with the receptionist s at the reception counter welcomed me with a broad smile and eventhough at that point of time they explained me in length and assured us of there will be room available later. They even took down my contact number and will call me for an early check in.
The rooms were clean as the hotel was only eight months old and hopefully the management monitor and upkeep the hotel's look as what it is presently. As for the food I would there is not much choice as what they say as "you get what you pay".
This hotel is located near to all shopping centres esp the "Pasar Payang" in which my wife love to visit and also could view appreciate the long stretch of beach along K.Trengganu.

I would strongly recommend this hotel for those who are visiting K.Trengganu with family or on transit to other towns in Malaysia.

The hotel situated very near to Pasar Payang, a market where you can do loads of shopping. It is situated near the beach. What I like about the hotel is it has free underground parking, and it is at the side of the main road and not in the centre of the city where it is usually jam-packed. The room is clean and quite spacious. Breakfast is moderate as we can have moderate choices of food there. The fornt desk need to smile and be more friendly (not to say they are rude, just not people friendly enough). The price is average.
