Stayed at the Antel Spa & Suites and they took about 40 min to check us in. To be fair we did arrive earlier than the 2pm check in time by 20min. Our booking details couldnt be found and it seems they had double booked us, but they were kind enough to upgrade us to a 2BR suite instead of the standard studio. Rooms were clean and the service from the hotel was very positive.

Location is great if you want to be in the Makati CBD - however surrounding the hotel are some seedy establishments, so it may not be "family friendly" at night walking around through the streets.

Wifi is free, but you need to go back to the concierge desk to get a new access card every 3 days. Check out the day spa - one of the best i've been too (bamboo treatment). Conveniently there is a 7 Eleven next door to the hotel.

Stayed there for 3 nights. Booked an apartment suite on Hotwire for $80. Very worth it, 2 rooms, a , kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a living room. Very clean, and nice rooms. Friendly staff. Lots of things nearby, a small shopping center, a 7-11 in the building, nice to walk the main drag at night. Nice 300+ foot high pool and a nice fitness room. Only complaint is that the construction crew on the building beside the hotel were loud, but thats not anyones fault. Would recommend.

Fairly satisfactory hotel. I paid for a regular room online but received a larger room with a kitchenette and dining area. It was clean. The room was in good condition. The breakfast was included and it was served in a very basic sort of restaurant area.

My favorite place in Makati was fully booked so I chose to try this Antel Spa Suites by Best Western where some of my friends stayed before.

The room is nice but smaller compared to the newer, cheaper favorite place of mine. I hate the place because people come in and out in slippers, shorts and it felt like I was in a cheap condo. There was no lift security wherein one does not need a valid room key card to use the lift.

There was free wi-fi connection but it was limited to one device only. So when I logged in using my iphone I could not use my laptop anymore using the free connection and I needed to purchase a new wi-fi connection for my laptop which I did not bother anymore.

The lady staff on duty last Nov 30 around noon time was a bit less accommodating. She was actually entertaining another guest and I that I understood but she should have the courtesy to inform me that another staff would take care of me. I was left in the dark for about 10mins if she was arranging my checkin or if she was entertaining the other guest until the male staff took over everything. I commend that male staff JB.

I would not stay here in Antel Spa Suites again. Okay I would reveal my favorite place in Makati to stay. It is St. Giles Hotel. Although not perfect and I had my own issues with the hotel, I would prefer St. Giles to Antel Spa Suites paying the same price. Actually St. Giles Hotel can be cheaper if you prefer a room without a tub.
