The hotel is a short walk from the North exit of Sapporo station. The walk can be a tad challenging with heavy luggage in the snow. The hotel itself is visible from the train station exit.



The hotel looks sleek and modern, the staff are professional and brisk, rooms are clean and more spacious than tokyo hotels, humidifiers are readily available. Room prices in Hokkaido are far lower compared to Tokyo, but hotel standards are easily comparable to those in Tokyo. This seems to be a very business-oriented hotel and aimed at domestic business travellers, but even so I did not encounter any problems being there for my honeymoon.

Breakfast was surprisingly good here, it takes place at the top floor of the hotel with a view to the surrounding cityscape.

There are several convenience stores in the vicinity, you'll pass at least one or two just by walking there from Sapporo station, there's even one right across the road from the hotel. There are eateries but you're better off going to Sapporo station to look for food. There is little of interest in the immediate area and you'll find yourself walking back to Sapporo station and it's adjoining malls for just about everything. There's a bookstore, music store, Muji, clothes, and lots of food, and also starbucks (with Wifi) in the malls above and beside the station.

There's internet connection in the room via Lan cable, connection is good and i managed to even complete some urgent work in the room. There is a free internet room at the lobby with 2 PCs for standing use only. 



Overall the hotel looks great, everything is great about it especially its price. Only minor grouse is the short distance between the hotel and Sapporo station. What seems like a 5min walk gets more tiresome in the thick slippery snow, freezing wind, and is made worse with heavy luggage that you have to drag around.
