“Highly recommended”

I recently stayed here during the Sapporo Snow Festival. Our stay here was top-notch. It is located about a minute or two from the subway exit with the lift. It is in Susukino which is the entertainment district and where you want to be. The main part of the snow festival is in Odori Park which is about 5-minutes by foot from the hotel. As is the TV tower. The second part is the ice sculptures in the middle of the main street a minute from the hotel. As for food and drinks, there is a good sushi restaurant on the 2nd floor of the same building. Even better: two buildings down from the hotel (if walking towards the station) is the Bow Bar on the 8th floor. This is perhaps the best Whisky bar around. The owner is a highly passionate bar man and speaks English well. He is more than happy to talk about Whisky and has about 500 bottles. The bar may not be cheap (we paid about 3000 yen per dram with the most pricey on offer being a 40,000 yen dram of an 1879 drop). I recommend the Ancestor which was from the early 70s. He will bring the bottles out and is happy for you to photograph them. He also has a massive Grappa selection. Ramen Alley is just a block away as well. But, I digress. The hotel was modern, clean, quiet, and the service was impeccable. A shout out has to go to Nagao-San, the Russian concierge. She went beyond the call of duty to give advice. She really is a fantastic face for the hotel. Would definitely stay there again!

Room Tip: I just asked, as always, for a clean, quiet, non-smoking room.

“A great spot to stay, and good sized rooms for Japan”

Lovely clean, reasonably sized and priced rooms. Very close to subway and restaurants. Our second visit and we will visit again

We stayed for 3 nights with 3 young kids. The 4x bed room was perfect for us. 2 single bed and 2 smaller bed that was just what we needed for the little ones.

Room is spacious, bathroom is large by Japenese standard. One disappointement is that there is no WIFI in the rooms (only cable internet), and you need to go down to the lobby if you want WIFI.

Breakfast was very good, we took our advantage-plus member card which gave us 50% discount on the meals! Lunch was ok, long service to get your main dish once you've enjoyed the buffet.

The diner menu did not attract us, but there are a few restaurants within the complex at level 2, so you don't need to get your winter clothes on. Walking distance from the subway station, and the 7-11 close by accepts internation credit card withdrawals.

There are a lot of restaurants-bars-clubs within walking distance.

There are international staff in the hotel, which help to get understood in english. We met 2 of them who ere french-speaking staff. All the staff were very nice and eager to meet your expectations.

HIghly recommended!

“Excellent Hotel - Great Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 December 2011

This is a very good property. The location is fantastic, right in the centre of Sapporo's very interesting entertainment centre and within walking distance from the access to the underground city where everything happens during the Cold Winter.

The rooms (and toilette) are much larger than in a comparable property in Tokyo. I was on the 14th floor with a great view. Central heating is also excellent.

Internet is free in the rooms (ethernet) and of high quality.

Reception staff speaks good English and the Concierge service (not staffed by Japanese but by Europeans) was extremely helpful in a country where the language barrier is a serious problem for any non-Japanese speaker.

I would highly recommend this property to any traveller or business person.

Check-out was good and they are flexibl

Lots of restaurants nearby. Wifi accessible from lobby. Internet computers also available at lobby. Very clean and spacious for a Japanese hotel room.
