“very convenient location”

I went to K.L. with family for 5 days and it was our 1st visit.

The hotel enjoys a prime location of being right in the middle of all the action. Premier shopping, dining and entertainment outlets are just a few steps away from the hotel.

The hotel offers everything, as free WiFi, swimming pool, luxury spa, breakfast buffet, and other facilities.
Rooms are very clean, staff are very friendly, services provided by the hotel are convenient, but the value is a bit high compared to other Ritz Hotels in some other countries.

I recomment "The Ritz" for couples, families, or business travelers.

“Holiday in KL”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

I was traveling with my children and wife for new years to KL, it was my first visit to KL and had no ideas about the hotel or areas to select for a hotel. Therefore I went with a suggestion of my friend and selected the RITZ CARLTON. I got a good deal on the rooms and paid a minimum upgrade charge which was worth the price. The location of the hotel is perfect it is situated behind the westin hotel and is very close to pavilion mall , it is also connected to JW Marriott which makes its easier to get to the pavilion mall. We stayed in the Executive Deluxe room which was of good size but looked very old, the bed and sofa in room need a change. I had several issues in the room like the bed wasn't comfortable not firm at all, leakage in the bathroom , air conditioner going off in the middle of the night and once the shower head flew off. But the good part was all theses issues were addressed by the staff and would like to thank them, I think the staff of ritz are FANTASTIC they addressed to all our grievances promptly and with a smile, i believe they are the reason why this property is running.I think the rooms need a bit of make over too. The Pool area is very good and beautiful but not for children. The hotel is not for family as there is limited activities available for children. The JW is a good hotel and has a good pool for children. The lower level of JW has a place called as "FEAST VILLAGE" which has multiple restaurants and different cuisines. The good part is that all facilities of JW can be used by the residents of RITZ. In all Ritz is a good hotel for business or couples but for family would suggest the JW or Westin. The only reason i would go back to the ritz would be for the service, the staff are very helpful and polite.

“Feel pampered with great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

The hotel facade/entrance area wasn't outstanding. I mean it doesn't befit a luxury hotel appearance. (probably space was a problem as the hotel is located in the midst of a very busy part of KL ie The Golden Triangle District of KL). I was also a little disappointed we were charged RM10 to park our car even though we were hotel guests, which I think should be free. The reception area looks nice but there are hardly any seats for family members while one is doing the checking-in as the lounges are in a separate area not within visibility of the reception area. Other than these, I think the hotel is great! All the rooms come with butler service, where we can order any beverages at any time of the day to be taken to the room at no extra charges. The hotel furnishing and fittings are classic and extravagant. The paintings hung on the walls are very beautiful and the service is great. The staffs are trained to be courteous to the guests and you feel pampered off course.
For foreign tourists who'd like to see the bustle of KL city life and do some shopping, or try out Malaysian cuisines, the location of this hotel is ideal as you just have to step out of the hotel. Of course don't expect a resort-like atmosphere here.I have posted more photos and reviews in my blog. Do visit it at anythinglily.blogspot.com

“A very good hotel but value for money..!!!”

I am frequent visitor to KL and it was my first stay there. The hotel is old with a small reception but otherwise it was a good stay.
Compared to other cheaper hotels like Traders or Prince which is nearby.. I would say that value for money is not that great when you stay at Ritz-Carlton.

“The best boutique hotel in KL with a fabulous location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

I have been traveling to KL every month for 5 years and I have never changed my hotel - Ritz Carlton is the best for a business traveller or even if you are on a holiday. It is the most personalized service I have ever seen in any hotel across the world Right from the reception, concierge, restaurant staff and the lobby lounge staff - everybody bends backwards to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are very spacious and have all the bells and whistle one needs - flat screen TV, DVD player, really fast internet, ipod docking station and best of all a butler to take care of all your personal needs. The rooms look out towards the klang valley on one side and the KL city on the other. The breakfast spread at Cesar is fabulous. Must try the black truffle omlette and their freshly baked croissants. The pool is slightly small, but allows you a decent lap. For a relaxing evening hang out at the lobby lounge. They have a fabulous array of single malts and fine teas. The dinner menu is not that expansive, the standard mix of all cuisines if available.

The concierge desk guys are great - ask for a restaurant booking or tourist advise and its all done. No need for reminders and all that!

I do mean it when I say it is one of the best hotels, in terms of service and comfort.

Most important - location. The hotel is walking distance to the bustling bukit bin tang, 1 minute away from the Pavilion mall. You are right in the middle of all the action in the city

Room Tip: All rooms are great. They have serviced apartments as well in case you are looking for large familie...
