“Beautiful Hotel - bit on the high end of price but worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 February 2012

This is one of the nicest hotels I have been in Asia. the rooms are spacious and well lit with nice tones and colors. The bed is big and comfy, shower is really nice. Even a twin toilet/bidet. The pool is beautiful (ok only minor minor disadvantage was that you are not supposed to swim under the waterfall but noone is going to stop you). The staff are very friendly (as in most Hilton hotels) and they were very competent at the front desk regarding check in etc which is not always the case. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Hilton PJ is better in this respect with more choice and space to sit. The hotel is located downtown and its a short enough walk to get to the metro or you can catch a cab if you re lazy.Downside is that it is pricey at 600RM / night and there is no Free WiFi.

Greetings from Hilton Kuala Lumpur!

I would like to thank you for taking the time to provide the hotel feedback on your recent stay with us and I am delighted to know that you enjoyed your stay in our hotel.

Nevertheless, we have duly noted on your comment on the free in-room internet services, currently we are looking at the feasibility to provide such facility to our in-room guest. We thank you for taking the time to bring this matter to our attention and only with feedback can we continue to improve our service standards.

The team and I look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel soon.

Best regards,

“Very 'Sentral' in KL”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 February 2012

We took the luxury bus from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur and were happy to have the Hilton Kuala Lumpur as our end-of-trip destination. Sharing high ground with the Le Meridien next to Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station this hotel was ideally located for traveling around the city/area by subway and train. The hotel itself is nicely appointed and the rooms large and comfortable. Clever sliding walls and doors add an element of adventure to navigating the rooms. Hint: if you can't figure out how to turn down the TV volume in the bathroom look for the control behind the bathrobes. There are several restaurants in the hotel - and in the adjacent Le Meridien hotel. The concierge staff were very helpful in lining up a relatively inexpensive car and driver for business visits on the far outskirts of town. The National Museum is very nearby as is a small but interesting Little India. Chinatown is a short subway ride away. The subway system uses tokens you purchase from the easy to use kiosks. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: The view toward the National Museum from a high floor is very nice.

It is one of the most impressive and luxury hotel i have ever seen. The view to the city's skyline was really great and the rain shower was so relaxing!

“Well what do you expect? It's a Hilton!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

As with most of the Hilton hotels - it's great. Brilliant location, close to the station - cheap, fast excellent train to KLIA (if your flight is with Malaysian Airlines you can check in your flight at the station)
Stunning rooms, the walls slid in all directions - you'll know what I mean if you've stayed there! Beautiful restaurants, great pool. Helpful reception where you can book tours if needed. Friendly staff all round - what more can I say.
The only 'problem' that we has was that we couldn't find the toilet in the bathroom and had to call reception! It was located behind a door which had no handles - very odd!

If there was a downside - it was a bit of a trek to the monorail - but I did have an upset tum, so maybe that's what made it seem so far away!

It is some distance from the Petronas Towers so I don't think any of the rooms have a Tower view - though I may be wrong.

Room Tip: If you can't find your toilet push on the panel at the side of the sink - it's there! Try to...

“always a great choice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

Hilton KL is a fantastic choice when visiting the city on business or for leisure. I'm a little biased as I have spent over 60 nights there in the past 4 years.

High points:
- Rooms are very well appointed, luxurious, clean and maintained a high level
- Service is attentive and cheerful
- F&B choices are plentiful and of any taste you may desire...I'm partial to Prime Steakhouse at Meridien (connected to the hotel)
- Exec Lounge: great views, and generous snacks/drinks throughout the day
- Location: easy cab or LRT (train) ride into the city; KLCC / Twin Towers are 4 stops away and a mere RM2; KLIA Ekspres train (28 mins to KL International Airport) is attached to the hotel.

Low Points:
- if you desire a city center feel within a short walk of shopping and local restaurants, this isn't your place

Overall, a solid choice.

Room Tip: Higher is better, and ask for a room on the Lake Garden side if possible
