We stayed at the Linden for just one night. This hotel offers spacious rooms with kitchenette and dining area. Clean and comfortable but please note that service is courteous but not particularly friendly and the internet must be paid for (walk along the road to Starbucks for free wifi). Even though I paid the fee, I could only get a connection in the lobby. The restaurant food is fairly nice but the atmosphere ia very much that of a hotel cafeteria rather than a sumptuous restaurant. The indoor pool and jacuzzi are very nice, although small. Overall a pleasant, but unremarkable, stay in this hotel.

“Ruined my Philippines and Singapore trip.”

The actual sleeping stay at Linden Suites is nothing to shout about. The rooms are not very cheap, but we got a good sleep.

What ruined the trip was food poisoning thanks to the buffet breakfast on the 2nd floor due to Scrambled Eggs. I wasn't feeling well after a week of getting it; and some how it shows in the photos I uploaded and what we saw at their cafe or restaurant. They submerged butter in water that you use to spread which I never seen before even in the restaurants my dad worked in as a head chef; the pandesal was not pandesal but rather wheat bread and when we approached the hotel staff, it was a mere sorry and that's it. The bananas were cut into threes - most hotels don't do this because of bacteria and anyways - what was wrong with offering a whole banana?

The stay at the Linden Suites was average and if I'm honest, the nurse and concierge staff were helpful when I got sick but I still forked out $70 AUD for medical treatment at a hospital and was diagnosed with gastroenteritis.

Put simply, don't stay here, but if all options run out - sleep, just eat somewhere else.

Room Tip: Find another property.

We were sorry to hear that you got sick during your stay in Manila. However, before you checked out of the hotel, we spoke to your doctors and reviewed the medical findings. The report stated that you had a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) and Acute Gastroenteritis. We were informed by the doctor that your symptoms could have been brought about by your UTI condition.

To further ensure that we did not serve eggs that were not fresh, we monitored and did not receive any other guest complaints with the same symptoms. In view of this, we regret to inform you that we are unable to give you a refund on your medical expenses.

The hotel is committed to provide you and all guests with the highest standard of service in the industry. We apologize for your less than satisfactory experience during your stay and hope that this incident has not marred your good impression of The Linden Suites. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite. It was clean and spacious. Room was cleaned daily and toiletries replenished. The only issue I had was the towels reeked of cigarette smoke even after they were supposedly freshly laundered. On our 1st day the elevator made some creaking sounds and the ride was a bit dizzying. However it wasn't so bad on our succeeding days of stay-did they fix it or did we get used to it, I wonder? The hotel staff were courteous. Breakfast was adequate. It was conveniently located to Megamall and Robinson's Galleria malls.

“" Good location, spacious accommodation"”

We stayed in the Linden Suites for six nights in a two bedroom suite. The suite was extremely spacious and very clean. The kitchen had a microwave, kettle and cooker, but limited equipment for cooking which are available for hire. Luckily we only needed the kettle and microwave. Breakfast had a reasonable selection and we only ate there on three occasions. The Megamall was only five minute walk and good for shopping and eating in the food court and restaurants. We used the indoor pool and jacuzzi in the evening and found it relaxing. We found the staff were courteous and helpful during our stay. The door staff and security were good too. We paid for weekly Internet/wifi but could only use my IPad in the lobby. I could not use connection in room, also I found only one person can use the password as my niece could not log on as well. That was disappointing.

“The Linden Suites”

I often wondered whether any 'reviews' are fair as often people only comment following a bad experience. However I read many reviews on the Linden Suites beore I booked and everything other customers have commented on is very accurate. I have returned to th UK after spending 6 nights in a three bedroom suite, the suite was extremely spacious and very clean. The location was very good and very near to the Mega Mall. The cafe at the back was a favourite spot, very cheap and great food. We didnt eat in the restaurant in the hotel (other than breakast) Breakfast was at times interesting, bacon scrambled egg, cottage pie, mashed potato and garlic rice. Hmmmmmm. You have to bear in mind that they are trying to cater for many different nationalities and on the whole they did this. The door staff and the security guy were lovely, always welcoming and helpful, unfortunatley this could not be said for the reception staff. Their Knowledge of the area or of Manila is very limited. They werent unhelpful but they certaintly wont win any awards for customer service. No where on trip advisor have I read about the 'spa' services that are available at this hotel. We all had fabulous massages and facials these services are available elsewhere locally but the higher cost at the hotel was worth it, much better ambience and overall experience. The ladies can come to your suite or room if you prefer. The most important thing for us was safety. This is why the Linden suites location was so good. We booked the hotels car to pick us up from the airport this cost 1800 pesos, we hired a street taxi back to the airport this only cost 200 pesos! DO NOT bother with the expensive daily/ weekly payable wifi/ broadband. totally usless and very expensive, better off going to starbucks or one of the many fast foods restaurants behing the hotel.

Room Tip: Three bedroom suite- massive we stayed on the 11th floor in tower two.
