The room is very small, but very comfortable.
All is new. Service is nice, but nothing special. Breakfast is served on the top floor with nice views, but again food is just OK...
LOved it's location, inside the Intramuros, just a 5 min. walk to Manila Cathedral.
The personel not agreed to extend our stay ( late check out ) without pay a full rate per day. Even not a discounted I paid using hotels.com.
No customer's attention.
Saw other hotels in Intramuros for the next visit.
I like its surrounding and location, but ventilation need improvement to get rid of damp smell in the room. Towels smell too strong chemical.
I had booked this hotel after reading 1 review here on trip advisor. I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasntly suprised. Very Clean, and the staff was nothing but professional. They really look out for you. I had told them that i had a driver and they wanted his name and phone number for my security. That right there was enough for me. I had stayed there from the 12th of january until the 15th . I felt so comfortable there that when i was done with my vacation i went back to stay there from the 29th until the 1st of febuary when i was heading home. The only thing in my humble opinion is that they are missing is a pool. I know, it sounds minor, but it was so hot out that a dip in a pool would have been perfect.. Thanks to the staff and everyone for a great stay..
As a hotel, it's ok. Rooms are clean. Cable tv, hot water shower, ref, etc. are present. Food at 9Spoons is good but service is VERY slow. We were a big group and our food didn't all come at the same time. Breakfast was buffet style, but you have to wait a long time for water (or napkins or other items not included in the buffet). The front desk, however, is another story. Check in is very cumbersome. Front desk staff had many irrelevant questions and redundant explanations. Check out is awful. One person in our group was asked to pay for her room when we prepaid for our rooms via internet. When I pointed this out, staff didn't even apologize for the oversight. Overall I was very disappointed with the service. Location is good in a sense that's in a historical site, though.
