“Perfect get-away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 February 2011

My husband and I got the chance to stay for one night last weekend.... HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful -and affordable- getaway. DELICIOUS dinner (we had the steak and salmon), cozy room, clawfoot tub (with bubble bath provided), make sure you have your breakfast in the sunroom. Donnie and Denise are very gracious hosts and and they treated us like special guests. We felt very spoiled. We eagerly look forward to when we get to stay here again.

“A beautiful, historic Inn, on a happy creek, with mountain meadows to hike in.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2011

As a group, we had the Inn to ourselves. Our meetings were in front of the living room fireplace. The evening meal was as excellent as any restaurant, and we have traveled around the world. Our hosts were gracious. Our accomodations were just right, with a King-size bed for perfect comfort, a claw-foot tub with plenty of hot water, and a warm room on a January winter night in the mountains.

“Engaging, Relaxing and Close to Home Retreat!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2011

Pinehurst was a blast. I can't say enough good things about the food....my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Even with my allergies, the continental breakfast was adequate (rice milk was offered as well as special cereals and lots of fresh fruit!) We drove about an hour and felt like we were in a whole different world. Could hear the creek rushing outside and woke up to a crackling fire in the living room and coffee ready to go. Lots of surrounding area to hike in and super fun, helpful and attentive staff. Our group had a great time enjoying the cozy living room late into the night. Bed was very comfy and rooms and bathrooms are pleasantly decorated with the feel of history. Large sun-room upstairs for reading or sitting. Just one tip: bring your earplugs if you're with a group. This beautiful historic building isn't super sound-proof. We will definitely go back again!!!!

“Girls night out.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2011

This stay was perfect. Hiking around the hills prior to dinner on a cool sunny day. Followed by a perfect meal in the Open Range. Relaxing around the fire with other guest while Donnie played the piano and some of us tried to sing along. Perfect evening, ending with a hot bubble bath in the clawfoot tub under candlelight. Great Stay.

“Meal Was Great!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2011

We went form Medford (our home town) to Pinehurst Inn and met some friends for the evening. The quality of the food and atmosphere was pleasantly surprising. We were part of a group that took over the entire Inn (they stayed overnight, we did not - schedule conflict) and our evening was terrific in every way. We had New York steak dinner it was very good. Of special note was the Apple Pie dessert. I have not had apple pie that good in a loooong time. We will definitely be clearing our schedule and gong back to stay overnight and experience that part of the B&B.
