The environment of the hotel was good and the beach is just next door. So if you are beach lover, this hotel suite you and furthermore the beach is not crowded, unlike the other beaches in PD. The Balinese concept garden was well kept by the hotel and nice. The hotel has quite big pool plus several slides for kid. If you get here by car, better park outside open parking not at the basement particularly for 4wd since it's quite low and dark. Entrance by car to the lobby quite hard to do because limited space to maneuver. No typical reception desk but the hotel use simple table to cater guest. Food was good and delicious. The room apartment was spacious with big room and kitchen, clean. The big minus of the apartment was it look tired, not vibrant at all. From the old furniture, tv set, bathroom, curtain, bedroom, the grim tired feeling was clearly seen. So if you don't care about these minus, the hotel is good enough.

After our disastrous stay at the AnCasa Pulau Jerejak this AnCasa turned out to be quite a refreshing surprise and - kind of - made up for the previous disappointment.

Though the hotel was book to the rafters due to the beginning of school holidays and many functions, the place seemed to operate quite well. Staff were all very courteous and seemed efficient.

Management was very adept at addressing situations and the Chef was simply excellent in his preparation of western foods!

Our two bedroom room/suite was simply a very, very well put-together combination of style and functionality - nothing scruffy nor old and worn.
The grounds were, sadly, akin to a lake due to the incessant rainfall . . . but quite attractive and good for a bit of a walk. The beach is just across the road - it is not a road open to traffic, therefore safe to cross.

Downsides were the noise from events which were quite loud until after midnight, some including fireworks . . . usually not a problem, but night after it gets a bit old.
The pool is quite ok, except that it is in the shade most of the time and therefore quite cool . . but the lifeguards were excellent.
Breakfast was acceptable, sadly in a dark part of the hotel . . . which is a shame as one wants sunlight in the mornings!

All in all quite a pleasant stay

Stayed a night at Ancasa Port Dickson, 2 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms apartment.
Pros:
The building quite new
The pool and wadding pool is good for family, pool towels well managed
Facilities well equiped
Unit is big, ample space for family gathering
Toaster, microware, fridge are provided in the kitchen

Cons:
Not so clean in the unit
Second bedroom not connected to the common bathroom

I couldn't understand when i read other people's comments down here, many facing unfortunate experiences. I stayed at 2-bedrooms apartment about two times already and i didn't find any flaws during my stay. Maybe am lucky. :)

I even plan to come back again for another family day. I like the fact that i can easily access to the beach, have a ride on banana boat or soak yourself in the salt water.

Just one thing, because this is an apartment, so many people will access the swimming pool. So the pool will always be crowded with people. But i don't like when there are some people are soaking their babies in the pool with diapers on!!! EUWW!!!~ Hello young mother, can you be considerate more to other people around you?
